| Can the i99 be installed on wedges too? I'm considering changing all the shafts in my irons and would like to have everything in the same shaft. Currently using NSP950 but hand/elbow pain already so looking at something that have a higher damping factor.

| ok folks, I have played three rounds with the aerotech players spec i99, on a BFG CB003 heads First, good news: - LOVE the light weight. 2 rounds in 2 hot days, no muscle fatigue. I know this is piece of cake for most hard core golfers, but not for me hahahaha. While I was fatigued due to the piercing sun and heat, my hands/arms felt fresh even at last hole. - BFG heads have strong lofts, but with i99, I was able to launch the ball high without any ballooning (excess spin). Think I might have gained 5m or so, maybe... - Awesome feel. i99 felt softer than KBSTour with more kick (albeit tested on different heads). I don't have an aggressive tempo so it works for me. No elbow pains, no wrist pains. Not so good news: - I felt punch shots were a little bit more difficult with the light/lively feel of the shaft. Needing a little more practice. - Need to re-calibrate my distances, esp playing with two diff sets. - no budget to reshaft my Cobras..good things must wait If you are looking for a robust "graphite" shaft, do give i99 a try. | |

Yup. The two KL courses I played (Tropicana and Impian) likes to have dog legs! and the pins positions were tough, always near the fringe, protected by bunkers. Impian is almost half of what Tropi cost, very nice layout. Lots of uphill/downhill greens but not abrupt like you see in Keppel. Mature trees, great teebox/fairway conditions. They let grass on greens grow after the ADT masters so the speed was rather slow actually. Still smooth but slow. The views are nice, very easy on the eye. Nice food at golf terrace. Tropi was very expensive for the value. Surrounded by bungalows, some soggy fairways on the sides (not on center). Greens undulating and grainy (slow against, fast with). Sucker pin positions. Challenging. Many table tops greens. Hard to hold the ball on anything longer than 7iron. I dun mind coming back next year. Play other courses, hope you can come with so we can play KGNS.

[/quote] Botak, Thanks for taking time away from work to have a game with me and PS. Impian is a nice course.. nice dog legs and protected greens... Will be coming up again in April or May... So perhaps you could come out of your hibernation and have another game then... Send my regards to Ivan for me.....
