| the i99 is pretty unique. the long irons weight in at low 90g progressing to high 90s for the short irons and wedge.
i have actually put aside a set of i99 R flex for myself on the CB003. so when pushslice was going for a game last week i asked him to give it a try. since that day i have seen some attempts on his part to clear his storeroom cos he told me the irons are not coming back.
at the back 9 last week, i was just thinking about the i-99 versus the more robust i95 that i have on the other set of CB003. i am sure there will be a significant difference on those carry. how i missed that i-99. i have set aside a set just in case it sell out and i am looking forward to putting them in a new set of irons that i will be trying out.
the duck rice damn good, the chicken rice also good. the lor mee, i was just a tad late.

go for the i95..... if u are on 850 cos i cant tell the weight diff between the i99 n i95.... personally, i really like the i99.... cos i played with it for more than a year whereas the i95 is my last year xmas present i had too many good games with the i99.... me just too sentimental which is why i made my mind to play the i95 until year end, see if can measure up to the big games the i99 gave..... bit of history - i play with the DG TX Tour 90 for the longest time but i had elbow injury, hence my switch to i99 to prevent recurring injury as graphite as more dampening effect than steel..... so far my elbow got no problem

| i am a LOFT....so the legacy black forged irons looks like something that i can handle better. as for the MB, its nice and really if you prefer a thinner topline with more workability and lesser forgiveness, its a pretty well made set of irons.

| Lend to Duval and SBH after my game with them on thursday, I don't need a bigger handicap going into this game.
I am gaming adjusted Irons and new driver..
already big enough handicap, don't need to be fighting with your deadly irons.

| Wow, looks great on spec.
Players Spec Ami99: With its SteelFiber construction and ascending mass weight progression the Players Spec Ami99 is the most technically advanced iron shaft Aerotech produces. Shaft weights ascend from 95 grams in the 3 iron to 110 grams in the pitching wedge. A player that’s looking for long irons that are as easy to hit as the SteelFiber i95 and short irons with the control of the SteelFiber i110, this is the shaft choice for you. The Players Spec iron shaft is more expensive to produce and therefore this technology comes at a higher price, but for a player looking for the highest performance in this weight range you can’t beat the Players Spec.

| if you have been to the Den you might chance upon a japanese gentlemen who likes to collect blades set. he has installed 3 sets on the i-99.
MP 60, MP 67 and recently the last set of Ikasu MB, all on the i-99 stiiff step down a notch. according to Honda-san, he loves blades but cannot play them on the course. since installing them on the i-99 he is playing with them and has ditched his CBs.
somehow is sounds a bit obscene.

| Playing i99 is like playing KBSTour (mid launch, mid spin), but lighter and smoother. KBS is already very smooth, easy on my hands but i99 is even more. The weight of NSPro, the Stability/Launch of KBS. The true test will be next week when I play 3 rounds in 3 days in KL. Including at Impian GCC (few days after Impian Masters wooohoo!). If I can last 3 rounds without any pains, win already. Check out my sig, help me pay for this gem hahahahaha : | |
