- Hi all, as I am from The Learning Tee I thought I should mention that HDB ceiling height is more than sufficient for you to use the Optishot. We have customers who have been using the unit in their flats. For anyone who is unsure and wants to try out the unit in their homes, we are offering a free demo in your house. The feedback that we have received on this award winning product has been overwhelmingly positive. Many thanks!
thx golfer guy .. maybe u can help by stating the min height clearance needed, say in metres.. thx Depends how tall you are haha... lol yups u definitely got a point there! a 6 or 7 footer swinging his clubs in a std HDB vs a midget of say 4' may be a problem indeed... so golfer guy over to u to clarify this aspect... Thanks for the opportunity to clarify. On our website we recommend a height clearance of 2.5m. Certainly if you are very tall you might need more and conversely if you are shorter you would need less. OptiShot also has a Par 3 Tee feature which is available on all the courses in the OptiShot library. This feature is particularly great for confined spaces.

| i just popped by the learningtee and tried out the optishot for the very first time. i must say that i'm very impressed with it.
sure, it will not be as accurate as trackman and will not have info like smash factor, since it simply tracks the club face, not the ball. but even then, i found that when i tried to hit a draw or a fade, the system was able to pick it up accurately. even when i hit a fat shot, it was able to capture it, in that it detected the slowing down of my swing speed and hence the calculated distance also dropped accordingly. i suppose the one thing it wont be able to detect is if u hit it thin, since your swing speed would not be affected.
my other concern, having read the online reviews, is whether a normal driver would work on it. however, when i was there, i tried out a ping g10 without any problems.
i also liked the graphics and the fact that you can play on a number of different courses, apart from the driving range.
All in all, i think this is a really good piece of equipment for this price range.
