| Hi to all seniors - I'm a beginner and also a 2nd time new father. So - I've been having problems going for my practice at the range. I've tried to look for opening times and all I've come up with are ranges that close at latest 12am. Are there any that you are aware of that operate past midnight? I'm desperate to get some practice... | |

| Hi Josh, your best bet might be an indoor golf simulator.
The power cost for lighting up a driving range is very very high, so it is highly unlikely that any driving range in Singapore will stay open past midnight

| Maybe you could try waking up early and hit the range at 7? Maybe thats another option? | |

| Old Mandai can go quite late (look out for monkeys stealing ur food!!!!)... now not sure...
however i am pretty sure during weekends late night golf can be profitable...same as late night movies at the cinemas. It strange a 24/7 city like Singapore dont have a late night golf driving range.

| Thanks all for replies...
Looks like there's still no place that opens past 11. I found some compiled lists of ranges online. But they must be old. Coz - they show OCC closes at 12. Bishan too. Only for me to start once at 1030+ and asked to pack up about 1115...
So with regards to simulators, are there any that remain open past 12 too??

| It is so late at night should just sleep while you got the chance to sleep..
Especially when you said you are 2nd time new father, which mean that the new baby has just been born.. I am sure she and yourself may not even have managed to have proper sleep everyday..
If you can use the time to help your wifey who is struggling everyday to take care of the 2 kids.. especially when she has just starting to recover from childbirth.. she must be still in pain.. childbirth is a painful thing even after.. it takes time to heal completely.. If you can use the time to be with your wifey and help her.. I am sure she will melt and LOVE you more and more forever..
For understanding wifey without even having her to tell you about it.. For understanding wifey for being there with her supporting her.. For helping wifey without even having her to ask for it..
Women need constant care and concern.. Women need understanding hubby to understand them..
Guys if you can do this!! Your wifey is going to love you all their life..

| Wow, wow.. easy Lisy. Although I agreed totally with you and it is a good advise from you as a lady. I am sure bro Joshtay knew what he is doing as he have been the 2nd time father. I am also sure he need sometime to dis-stress from his daily routine in work & family. Hitting golf ball in the driving ranges is health compared in getting Believe me, I totally understand your advice but try to look at the other side of the story too. Oop .. sorry I am | |

| Thanks for your advice! I work from home precisely for this reason. So I'm sure, my night time range wishes are well justified. My other new window is 4-6pm when lately both kids take their naps. - Lisy wrote:

| convert one room for chipping practice and maybe even pitching...for high handicappers, the range may not be better cause 99.99% sure we dont practice enough chipping and pitching at the range. See the wide inviting open field, out comes the long irons, hybrids, woods and drivers. Who wants to chip 10-20m....

| No need to convert lah... just need a small room with enough room to just do a basic chip... put a memory foam mattress against the wall, take a bathroom mat put 2-3 towels below and about 1m before the mattress, then start chipping into the matress. If you want, can use a little sticker to indicate where you want to hit Why memory foam... because if you use spring or normal foam mattress, the ball will bounce back at you and if there is a window behind and you live on a high floor,,, police may arrive soon... how I know, becos | |
