| So next year, TM will have 3 product lines? A bit much, especially since Rocketballz seems like a mix'n'match of Superfast and R11. | |

| Was at Roger Dunn (Santa Ana) this afternoon after a morning meeting and was just about to leave the "Heaven" when in walked a TaylorMade sales representative... Immediately saw his golf bag stuffed with RBZ & R11s Headcover as well as some new putters... Anyways... The RBZ is an interesting club as it looks like a glorified R9 460... According to the sales rep... the Fairway & Hybrid will have a "pocket" slot for maximizing distance and meant to guarantee 17 yards more. The RBZ Drivers will come in standard version & tour version. The Standard Version will have a shallow face. The Tour Version will have a deeper face. Sorry no pictures of the fairway wood as someone was demoing What struck me more was the "new" R11s R11s will come standard with the RIP Phenom The new line will be available Feb 2012 after the PGA Merchandise Show | |

| Looks something out of the Ben10 cartoon. Anyway here's a video of Dustin Johnson hitting the Rocketballz 3 wood (331 yards ) https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&list=SP592E69CAD75DF4B2&v=G6jQfebgR6U | |

| It's ugly, the name's juvenile and it'll be 50% off in 3 months......but 17 yards more for the 3 wood....... | |

| The pocket slot is a rip off of the Velocity slot from Adams.
The name reminds me of Dragonballs, and i am with Jon, glorified R9 460.

Apart from the tuning plate at the sole... Nothing else different from what I saw and heard... The sales rep was more eager to promote the RBZ...
