| Taken from MyGolfSpy... I believe that these new 2012 lineup is what is replacing the Burner series... If it's true... Makes me feel that the Burner series is so much nicer!!! | |

Doubt these clubs will see the light of day now... TaylorMade gave up the Trademark "RocketBallz" 2 days ago
The Trademark "RocketBallz" didn't even last a week
Imagine the amount of customers they will lose if they had decided to launch this line...

| folks, apart from jokes on the RBZ name, anyone bought or tried the RBZ products yet? If you follow youtube (maybe a marketing tactic by TM ), Dustin Johnson smoked his RBZ 3wood 331yards the marketing tag line is that it is 17 yards longer (caveat: for better players)... now you know why the TM staff players have 17 on their caps.... anyway, for those who follow mygolfspy, you will know that historically, there is some bad blood between mgs and TMag. Although it appears in recent times, they have kinda patch up, but mgs usually say it as they see it eg is the speed slot a rip off from Adams series of woods? Anyway, this review made the mgs reviewer eat his words and had his haircut with TM logo on it... http://www.mygolfspy.com/rocketballz-haircut-challenge/ | |

| i tried them already.. i kinda like the RBZ driver.. comfortable with the setup and easy to hit.. tried it in asian spec..
For the RBZ fairway, saw the demo person bombed it down the range. Personally tried it but i cant hit it well off the mat.. my thoughts are that it is too light, and the head too big.. i cant feel it in my swing. Prolly good if you can connect it well.. I'm sticking with my R11 3W @190m.
Prolly will buy the RBZ driver since I've been looking for one.. Almost converted to cobra.. haha

| Tried the rbz driver too. As a newbie player, I brought my own stock R burner sf 2.0 there to compare. My driving sucks, but taking best of both clubs ( abt 10 drives each) the RBZ was 17m further den my burner. Very easy driver for newbies (like me), I hit more consistent. Not too loud ( crack from my burner hurts my ears).
Tried their rescue too, only woman's shaft available, but still was very sweet club to hit ( vs my burner sf 2.0). Sounds great.
Their irons too.. Very easy and balls really bounce off club face no matter how u hit them. Ultra forgiving compared to my i20. But when hit right, my i20 feels better, ball launch lower and further. Again, I think the RBZ range is very suitable for most casual players.. Especially easy for beginners to exploit.

Imagine the amount of customers they will lose if they had decided to launch this line... They may have given away the "RocketBallz" TM but did they keep the "RBZ" TM?

Thats why all the TM Tour Staff are wearing a cap with "17" on it! Well done, bro! except mine is in meters! But I think its abt there lah.. maybe the monitor not zun.. But TM's claims extra distance for their RBZ.. seems to be true. But I still prefer my Burners' look.. more sexy..

| standard pricing is at $429 for US spec and $499/$529 for Asian I think. Golf direct sells $349 for US spec (parallel import). | |
