| Hi GR members, Just dropping a note to say hi here (which is all I can do with the new regulations ) This is actually Eggy / EggHead / Eggwhyte. Some of you may have some recollection of me. Been away from all forum activites for quite awhile and working on my golf etiquette (mainly losing temper on course which I think I was quite famous for). Apologees for anyone unlucy enough to have seen any outburst from me on course last time. Must say that GR has really grown from the last time I've been here. Congrats! Some intro on me for people that have no idea who I am. My name's Ben. NSRCC basic member. Lousy golfer who has I think around 2 years golfing experience with only a 26.1 HCP. Short hitter and I now basically don't tee of with my driver. Normally play at NSRCC once a week (join flight) or solo in M'sia though these days fewer cuz of all the new cases of stolen cars across the bridge. Used to be quite well known for throwing clubs when things don't go well on course. Must say that I've worked hard to control this aspect of mine so it does not happen quite so often anymore. Normally range at OCC / NSRCC. OK... Think this is enough for an intro. Cheers! | |

Cheers, Hi dmateo Thanks Too poor to not pick up my clubs after throwing them. Hahahaha Besides.... No one will want some of my older drivers. I had to give them away cuz they have stamp marks on the heads. Embarrassing thing to admit but no point in hiding what I used to be. Guess people do grow up after awhile. Especially if they don't wanna mess up their game due to one or two bad shots. Thats the lesson I learnt.

I think the "Heart" part is the problem. Me super stressless, lazy and lousy golfer Strange enough, I am quite contented with the state of my game now as getting a tour card is no longer an objective (it was my dream when I started 10+ years back and was training daily during my 2-3rd year). But now with better things to do in life (i.e. family and kids), I have managed my expectations of the game and know that I will never be Tiger Woods... so nowadays, as long as my game is good enough for me to enjoy golf (i.e. hit ball, ball fly...hopefully), I happy liao... as long as my flightmates don't complain (or laugh thier socks off) abt my lousy game and the Buayas don't totally empty my wallet

| Now I am confused who is buaya and who is lousy ... I guess you guys could be a bit of both ("lousy" as in not pro yet) and I am just plain lousy (but happy abt it) Btw, I tried to "hit driver off the deck" but "hit the deck with the driver" instead. Croc nearly laugh until he fell from the buggy You guys have fun on the 20th but Bro Slicer51... beware of the Croc... becos: 1) He is really long off the tee. The marshals at MBGC follows him around just to see him hit his driver. 2) I just lost SGD30,000 (really... have to pay in yearly installments over the next 10 years) & lunch to him last thurs when I try to be hero and play level with him. He is so good that he always manage to control his game to just win just by 1 hole (so no need to give stokes) I guess you guys will find out who is buaya and who is lousy when you play. Enough SSing and ... Sorry, Bro@SlowNSteady for all this SS talk on your thread... I will try to catch a relaxing game with you sometime soon (PM can? Need to drive wife and kid to work/school in morning) whilst Croc is away. Need to lick my wounds so hopefully you not another buaya. | |

Thank you for the warning bro. I also have marshals follow me around except he is calling me to speed up my game I have all this planned out. I have booked them some very cute caddies on that day and try to "screw up" their swing. I think that should work

As for the weather, It is a rainy season now but Surabaya rain pattern was rather predictable. The rain pattern last a week. In other word, if it rain every morning, usually it rain for a week before it change. @slowNsteady, sorry for your slow and steady will give you a good low score. Happy golfing
