I think golfers who wear shades are cool....especially those who put it on and don wear it but instead hang in on their head......


I don wear shades coz have bad eye sight

better to have shade with new technology insert in one piece of lens with laser range finder...easier job and more useful....

I'd like to wear shades but I have glasses... means that I'll need powered shades which aren't as nice as those Oakley ones. Oh well... I suck at golf anyway... no amount of shades would change that.

Hey Bro,

I too have a Bad eye sight and have +1200 grade.

But i wear shades when I play Golf specially when there's too much sunlight.

Have you seen this RP Exception

I like wearing shade when I play becoz it helps me la lot
#1) am more focused
#2) helps me not to "Look Up" haha
#3) eyes do not irritate

I can't wear shades when i golf as I will duff all shots.

you can actually custom order oakley shades made with powered lenses, though it will cost approx 2 times that of a normal one. lens options are limited though.

alternatively you might consider rudy projects.

Shades are meant more for eye protection rather than coolness in my opinion. Always looking into the sun to see where your ball is is quite damaging... thats the reason i wear shades. But of course.. when there is an option to look cooler.. why not....

remember get those with UV protection.
shades without UV protection are actually damaging to your eye in the sense that they will enlarge your pupil, letting more light in, but at the same time, if there is no UV protection, the harmful UV rays will also get into your eye

Its also a nice way to protect your eyes on Sand Shots

I saw a Golfer accidentally caught a few sands on his eyes when he made a sand shot. It must be painful coz he stopped playing and ask for the marshall to take him back to the club house
