Difference between Center and Heel shafted putter ?

As the title, can anyone who's technical enough here, explain, preferably in layman term, the difference between Center and Heel Shafted putter ?

Center Shafted putter = The shaft poke into the center of the putter head (Putting face are usually balance)
Heel Shafted putter = The shaft poke into the heel of the putter head (Putting face are usually not blance, toe down)

Don't know layman enough or not?

In hokkien would be more layman

Bro Dave....here is the Seasoned Beginner's laid-man version:


1. heel shafted...more suited for those putters (the person putting) whose swing path is more inside out

2. Center shafted....more suited for those with putting swing straight line

I could be very wrong but my guess is as above

Down to personal feel bah when aligning over the putt.
So difference lies in the putter-er.
