For a game, too painful to bring clubs.

dreamer - you can definitely rent clubs but I have no idea how much it was as I took my own clubs with me! Smile

Played at Nirwana last year.

They have rental clubs which cost between USD50 - USD60 for a set. cheers

I've played Nirwana a few years back. Very beautiful course and interesting padi fields. I've got a friend who sliced his ball there and was trying to hack it out. Hilarious. Definitely a 'Must Play' course.

As for the golf course, the top 2 courses in Bali are Bali Nirwana Golf and New Kuta Golf.

For hotels or resorts, there are plenty to choose from:

Nusa Dua area: St. Regis, Mulia, Sofitel.

Kuta area: Pullman, Hard Rock Hotel, The Stone

Petitenget/Seminyak area: Samaya, The Legian, W hotel

For culinary:

Western: Ultimo (in Seminyak), Skipjack steakhouse (in Seminyak)

Chinese: Bali Nikmat (in Raya Kuta)

Pork Ribs: Wahaha (in Sunset Road, Seminyak)

Balinese: Bebek Bengil (Ubud), Babi Guling Ibu Oka (Ubud), Cafe Menega (seafood BBQ in Jimbaran, by the beach side), Nasi Wardani (Denpasar)
