| What I am slowing concluding is Newton's 3rd law is The SOP for most policy and life for that matter.......eg. #1 Nothing in life is free (mortal life), #2 If free, watch out, #3 In general, good things are never cheap and cheap things are never good

This one is brutal. iPhone headphones need me to press the phone before I can answer a call. Blah.

| i think struggling to put in the ear piece to my phone often cause more distress than answering the call itself. Wonder how many accidents happen because ppl are trying to put their handsfree | |

| Then how cum I see (usually ex-pat ang mos) speeding in Lambhorginis, Maseratis, large BMWs and Porsches in the CBD district all the time? Taxis drivers also seem to be 'except' from being fined for speeding and wreckless driving? CK | |

CK The ones I see have a very "action" attitude. Almost as if they're better than locals. Anyways, I've seen police issue tickets to ang mohs so I don't think they have a "get out of jail free" card.

| i juz kana recently along the new KPE.
guys pls take note, the speed limit is 70km/h....lots of cameras along it. Lucky for me is the 1st time kana there so they just issue warning.
Quite easily for us to forgot abt the limit as normally we use it from other expressway, ecp, pie etc which is normally >70..
take note... | |

| You did not see the big notice warning you off a speed camera in operation when you enter KPE? This notice is not new... its called a speed advisory notice ... your next offense disclosed will be issued summons and no more warning liao... take care and drive safe... no point speeding as cameras all over the place.. | |

| yes i agree, i kena twice alr, once on KPE and once on Nicol Highway, both are speed limit 70km/h... as long as you dont exceed too much from limit (10-15km/h), TP will free you speed advisory letter
best is dont speed...

| I find it hard to speed in Singapore. Before you can get to a fast speed, you either reach a traffic light, a zebra crossing, a traffic jam or an inconsiderate driver who is slower than slow.
In any case, I don't speed. I'm overly cautious when I drive.

| the temptation to speed is when at times, along the expressways when the road is clear..., when you are "provoked" or when a swagu driver is holding you.... this is more so for younger drivers ba... less so for older drivers though there are some exceptions.. there's a blitz on careless and reckless driving going on so its best to ignore bad drivers and to drive safely and courteously... its more relaxing and stress-free and you'll arrive fresher... in mood for that game... my humble opinion and 2 cents... cheers and drive safe... | |

| I've also noticed that with the downturn in the economy, people are becoming more distracted (with worry and stress etc). People also get more agitated and frustrated. So, accidents/road rage are more likely to happen. It doesn't help that the weather is also messed up and when it drizzles endlessly (like yesterday evening), roads are wet but people tend to still drive faster. Simply, drive safely. Tell yourself beforehand that you'll be expecting delays. If you mentally prepare yourself for the traffic, it makes it easier for you. If there is no traffic, then it's a bonus. If there's traffic, you knew it all along | |

| While I am driving to work today, pass by an ERP gantry but my IU showed "Error". I have the cash card in it but somehow it didn't worked today.
Anyone here has such experience? I am thinking of going down to the inspection center and get the IU inspected before I receive a summon.
