Orchard golf and country resort

Hi, would bros and sistas here who had played Orchard in Johor give me some reviews please. Thank you.

Orchard golf club is in johor.

it has 18 holes. There is a selection of 3 tee boxes, blue, white and red.

The fairway got grass, the bunker got sand.

Every green, there is a hole on the green, with a flag sticking out of the hole.

There is a clubhouse where you can change and shower.

Got carpark where you can park cars.

The above is my review of Orchard.

I play there once few yrs back....very wide and long fairway ..

Longest hole 500 over metres

I would say, it's quite good for beginner as the fairway is very wide, but you have to bear with the long fairway..all par 5 holes are super long !!...haha !!

i played there las year....not very crowded and nobody top rush you even on weekends... cowgrass fairway with decent greens....rather well-maintained course.,,,but its a pain to drive there....long journey!

My friend has arranged a game at Orchard for this Sun.... still deciding if I should play (as some ppl say it's almost like playing Daiman 18).
Hope to hear some recent reviews....

Orchard fairways are very wide, very good for spraying your balls....

Fairway condition not bad, best thing is bo lang one.... 1 hole can play 2-3 balls also can, nobody chase you...

Driving there super long man, if you thought driving to Palm Resort or Villa is long, driving to Orchard is lagi longer...

Club house wise not really the best of best, but bearable lah...

if never play there b4, i suggest just go and try no harm, but i dont think its a course you will go back very often... there are other better and nearer courses in JB...

is it further than Legends?

Orchard is easy, long, not many hazards.
A few par 4 give you the dejavu feeling..
medium size green, wide fairway, a few 240-270m par 4 too
1 200m par 3, 1 over the lake 160m par 3.
Club house not nice, got ah gua attendent selling ball.
not crowded, but always run out of buggy in the morning.
RM138 on saturday, RM86 on Sunday PM.(i think)

For Bro SS , 200m par 3 its sup sup sui ... his trusty hybrid one on aly ...

Please lah.. I'll use driver to 180m, then need to pitch on .. and hopefully 2 putt an walk away with a bogey...

My TSS master always work his game backwards, he actually meant use his driver to putt out and birdie from the fringe after his pitching wedge landed short at 180m.

hmmmm...play from 'behind'.....

heard the road leading from kulai town to orchard is long and not very safe at night, so I suggest play early and then balek kampong back to sg asap, say before 5pm? Another thing, the club house sucks and the cafe has a big army of flies. Very hard to eat a plate of fried rice with both hands (fork and spoon), u need to one hand on the spoon, the other hand chasing away the flies.......pissed me off.......

Played Orchard yesterday; overall not too bad. Fairways and teebox were decent. Greens were slow and grain seems to grow funky in some patches (my excuse for my dismal putting!)

Pretty OK value for money-course for the weekend. Think my golf standard not up to you guys leh.. I didn't think the course was easy. The index 1 hole was pretty interesting.

Ya I agree Will is a good golfer ... nearly kanna saddam by him ... long hitter with a small cc driver head .. whoever is playing with him on sunday at tanjong puteri ... get ready to me amaze how far this guy hits

I short hitter; no chance to on; but still use bull strength and screw up lor...

i think i will use driver to lay up... 200M!!!!! so far!! drive 180m then chip for the last 20m..
