| Seem like not much review abt Orchard golf course. Yesterday just went to play at Orchard. 2nd time play there.. din realise it till I saw the changing room. First time play there was probably 2years ago when I am still struggling to swing...
The buggy really scare the shit out of my friends Cannot be controlled. Sterling wheel almost loose... The buggy brake is almost total gone, depend on the engine brake only., my friends a few nearly bang on the front buggy. On top of that, the fly!!! Is swamming ard the buggy... As if I am driving the flies nest ard... Through out the game, on the buggy time we busy chasing the flies ard us.
Fairway standard of Malaysia. Mixture of the fine grass. Green Oki. Pretty fast, maintain quite oki.
Overall still a good course though distance a bit far. Except the buggy..
Book thru Oscar, RM146 | |

| Last time i played there few weeks ago, almost got lost... I find the course to be ok but agreed that the buggies need to be changed... there is almost like no service staff in the clubhouse. Have to walk around to get someone to discharge the golf bags from our car.
anyone know the shortest way from Sin to there???

| There's a reason why it's called Orchard, lots of fruit trees there, and it must be some fly season. Was there a few weeks back but must have just dodged the fly swarms.
Best to check the buggies there before taking them out. Non members and later flights usually get the lousier buggies.
There are much newer buggies, consider yourself lucky if you have been assigned one. Or you can slip in a small tip along with a request for a new buggy.
Just a heads up, this was the course where some golfers got robbed at gunpoint quite some years ago. It's the par 5 hole where the green is right next to the main road. 1st I think.

| I heard some people get to hear an old uncle singing in the men's shower room when actually there's no one there. Not sure if it's true. | |

| My Review on this course.
I played there last Saturday. As we newbie golfer and want to play on weekend, my uncle suggested this Orchard Golf Country Resort as it is cheap and course is easy and not too hard to play.
I always thought Orchard is maybe like dammn nearby course but to me I feel it like further than Legends where my uncle claim nearer than legends.
Reached the place, if you are expecting a 4 or 5 stars country club you will be disappointed. The whole club house and bag drop off area were like crying in need of renovation. And service staff only 1 at the bag drop off area. The changing area is also bad. But what can I ask for at a good price on a weekend. Go to the buggy, and boy the buggy is really lousy.... Startup move off and I got a shock the engine will start up noisily like a grass cutter machine... The green have a mixture grass and super lots of divots holes. And best that day got competition and a few times balls got swallowed alive by roughs. I was shocked to see people driving buggy to putting green, tee box, PAR 3. And after about the 7-8 holes, my buggy die off and my flightmnate had to push my buggy with theirs to move back near to club house. No number to call and scorecard number no call through.
Now then I realise how come got a empty buggy in the fairway.....Abandon our buggy at on buggy track and the new one sounds and move better but still like noisy. Golf course is quite fun to play but the buggy and road trip dun do the course justice. But Overall the price I paid for a weekend if worth to go explore!
