By the way, if you guys are up to it, we can reshuffle the flights so that we can mix the people up and get to know new friends. Just a suggestion.

My jb kakis are quite well mixed. Big bettors have, small bettors have, high hdcppers have, High Hand also have.

shot 49 this morning. Hai... That's how my game is right now. Extremely volatile. But at least this is an improvement. I was very consistently shooting high 90s for the past couple of months, but now at least can shoot some 80+ scores. So just have to keep working on it.

So you ok with the RM20.00 stableford competition?

Just for the fun of it, I'm in for the mini stableford competition.. My game can't get any worse anyway... Was 7 over for the first 3 holes at Puteri 'A' yesterday..

My handicap is 9.6.. officially. Unlike some Cowboys and Alloy locks who declare 16 but are at the top of Div 1 and in Premier respectively. Hiak hiak hiak!

stableford is actually a scoring system where it is more friendly for amateurs where blow-up holes don't get penalized as compared to strokeplay.

Stableford system assigns 1pt for bogey, 2 for par, 3 for birdie, 4 for eagle (hole in one is also considered eagle)

So if you are a zero hdcper: and you play 18 pars: you get 18 x 2pts = 36 pts.

The higher the total points, the better.

Let's say you are a 18 hdcper: you will get 1 stroke per hole. If you score a bogey, your nett score will be par (2pts). If you score a double bogey, your nett score will be bogey (1 pt)

So let's say that a 18 hdcapper shoots all bogeys for 18 holes. That means that his nett score, after factoring his 18 handicap, is also 36 points.

If a player is a 19 handicapper, apart from getting 1 stroke per hole, he/she will also get an additional stroke for the Index 1 hole. So if he shoots double bogey on Index 1, it is double bogey - 2 strokes = Par (2 stableford pts)
