It's not the length which matters but the quality of the shaft.

Thanks ttkm

I am a beginner and have tried both the JPX-800 and MP53 at the range.

My own experience has been that the JPX is a lot easier to hit than the MP53, with the 53 i have to focus a lot more to hit it and most times its still a less than ideal shot

Having said that, the "song" feeling i get when i whack a gd one with the 53 is so much better as it comes only when i pull off a proper swing.

So for the moment also thinking if i shld get the JPX which is what i can use quite easily or the MP53 which is currently out of my skill level but hopefully over time can force me to focus more on my swing.
I guess there's always 2 school off thoughts. Get a "pro set" and play to it? Or get a forgiving set to practice n then "re-learn" again when u upgrade? I'm with the former Smile

Well I'm no pro but I suspect it works like a lever, the further the distance the more force gets on the ball

Yeah, it doesn't make sense .... but I guess for irons, the differentiation between US and Asian specs are mostly the shafts. Got nothing to do with the head...

Either way, many of us here are using KBS , Project X, True Temper etc... All made in US and are typically for ang mohs... and we are not ANG MOHS....
