| Hi Guys,
Walked past this small shop on the second floor of Bukit Timah Plaza, Seems like a new golf shop there, selling a range of Mizuno clubs, and they are having a sale now. The prices are really cheap. Good deal if you are looking for mizuno clubs.

| The shop sells new mizuno clubs. MP 53 and JPX-800 going for 1050/1080 respectively. The prices are about 200 dollars cheaper than golf house. There are another mizuno clubs, drivers and accesories for sale. The place also provides re-grip services etc...Limited selection of 2nd hand clubs. If I remember correctly , the brand of the 2nd hand club was bridgestone. | |

| Jap specs if I remembered correctly. Shafts are either ns pro or graphite. | |

| Can confirm the price for JPX-800 for $1080 is for graphite or NSPro shaft?
What are their operating hours?

| Although I am inclined to go for the JPX-800 graphite, but people at shops that I've visited keep on raiving about the MP-53s (on NSPro).
Asked them and the MP-53 does not come in graphite (I prefer graphite).
Is the MP-53 so good? Anyone care to share? (price is near the JPX-800).

| 1080 was for ns pro shaft. For graphite It would be more expensive. I not sure about their opening hours. My understanding is that MP53 are for golfers with handicap 15 and below. There are less forgiving then JPX 800. You have the same dilemma with me. Haha! Let me poison you further , if you are considering getting the MP 53, why not get the MP58 , it's 888 or 688 if I am not mistaken. | |

| ttkm,
My budget is around 1K and I am even looking for a used set of MX series. However, I am on the hook for forged set and the JPX-800 has the feel and weight that I like.
I guess the graphite JPX-800 is around 1200.
Dun poison me la, I am very torn apart already.....
How would you say for example an old MX-19 is suitable for?

| Wow mx 19, no clue. Truth being said , golf direct is having a sale soon (next week) , you may want to check it out. The prices of JPX could be below 1000. Don't think the Jpx800 Is forged. The jpx800 pro is forged. There is a new model of JPX coming out (came out already) . The prices of the old model should fall a little. So if you are not in a hurry you may chose to wait. | |

| Thanks ttkm
I am a beginner and have tried both the JPX-800 and MP53 at the range.
My own experience has been that the JPX is a lot easier to hit than the MP53, with the 53 i have to focus a lot more to hit it and most times its still a less than ideal shot
Having said that, the "song" feeling i get when i whack a gd one with the 53 is so much better as it comes only when i pull off a proper swing.
So for the moment also thinking if i shld get the JPX which is what i can use quite easily or the MP53 which is currently out of my skill level but hopefully over time can force me to focus more on my swing.

| Well guys hate to break it to you, but I was looking at the JPX 800 at GD but turns out their using american specs, which I don't think is good for performance either way | |

Why are American specs not good for performance?

| Well japanese spec clubs are longer and lighter thuss enhancing a players performance, US spec clubs are designed for bigger sized ang mohs so the clubs are shorter and heavier. Asian using american specc not that good.
Orh and I got the namecard of octane golf, number is 67632300, but doesn't say opening hrs tho, wth. In regards to the serial number I think u shud call them, what's with the seriaal nnumber though ?

Ahh, I guess it just depends on preference. I know golfers here who find Asian specs too whippy and dislike it. No perfect equipment
