| Haha glad to know that there are people out there that understand satire when thy see it, I would like to extend apologies to the people that were unable to intellectually comprehend my sarcasm. I apologize for making you look daft. Also , I would just like to highlight the point of my ranting. People Like "in the hole "who attempt to utilize "technology" To take the easy way out to shame/ bully people.. nobody is perfect, however couldn't the issue be solved by just simply going up to the kids and telling them to be considerate and soften their voices? Coming to a forum And threatening to "expose" their names To shame them is simply an act of cowardice, always remember chris, NOBODY likes a snitch. An that's what you are, so sue me | |

sorry i have been off the last couple of days...hard disk crash. thank goodness my indian friend was able to help me do a 30 hour hard disk recovery and a new hard disk later, its none the worse now.
Cheers.....DGman
Hi DGman glad to know one of my indian brothers could Help you solve your hard disk recovery issues! I have absoloutely no intention to be rude to anybody i just feel that golf is a game for Gentleman and for people who aspire to be gentleman, And I feel uneasy when I see people who feel that they are superior and can antagonize others simply because they feel they are superior or join a modestly priced private golf club . And thank you all for letting me exercise my right to voice my opinion? Thank you dmateo, pls don't bash me up with your 10 punch street fighting skills! Golf Republic is the Best!

| not everyone have golf club in singapore, I don't. if you're talking about Mygolfkaki then that's not really a golf club and for 100 dollar or so a year anybody in this game can join. those fights days are in elementary school. right now don't even dream about it. Most I'll get is sprained muscle at the back or leg. You can only get away on this kind of thing when you're a minor (obviously not talking about anyone dying here) and right not I am way pass that prime time in life.

| I do believe that everyone has the freedom of speech, but i urge fellow GRians to bear in mind that we need to respect each other's point of view. After viewing some of the so called "compalin" posts, this what i think of it.
GR is formed to gather like-minded individual (golf) to come together to share views, thoughts and maybe even a good steal on equipments. This i believed is the spirit of this forum,i cant say much about other forums. Every post in this forum should serve as a warning/compliment/feeback/simply a note for all GRians to be aware of, rather than taking it as a channel to expose anyone specifically. Though i am sure certain comments are made based on an implusive manner and we should mindful that when one's is under anger mode, we tend to say things we dun really mean (at least for me).
Why not let's use the forum for the purpose that it was set up for in the 1st place? Let's all have a enjoyable game of golf together whether on course, in the range and online...

Can moderators help to delete this thread. You've just hit the nail right on it's head! What I did was basically recreate what "in the hole" did by fronting his cause on an open forum, when he could have simply "pm" and solve the issue amicably. I am not condoning the actions of the Youngsters who work there , I just feel strongly against people who intimidate others by "threatening" to expose their names on am open forum. Peace thank you for participating in my thread, however we can't go around deleting posts we don't like to see , that's not how a forum works maybe you should move to north Korea

| Bro,
1. 'Bangla' is a language spoken by the bangladeshis. 2. As depicted in ur avatar, not all bangladeshis are road sweepers, many as well hold professional positions, unless that is really a pic of urself holding a broom to tee off, then i must say thats not allowed in golf. 3. Bangladesh is not part of india, hence not indians. 4. Being a keyboard hero like inthehole is prevalent in all golf forums, regardless singaporean or not.
Yes, u hv hit the nail in the head but along the way u nailed many other heads unnecessarily esp us singaporeans. Remember, two wrongs dont make one right.
I understand that ur trying to get this across in a light hearted way but dun sweep singaporeans, indians and bangladeshis along the way.

And why do you use Bangla123 as and ID and picture ? Are you trying to discredit bangladeshi people and create racial friction on this forum or worst in the country where FT issue is hot topic ? Sorry DG Man I don't see anything funny or refreshing about the whole thing. I see cowardice, incorrect generalisation statement and a cunning way of throwing the blame to / discredit / frame a foreign etchnic/country.

| man oh man... you people take this crap way too seriously... its a bloody forum... just have fun and let him run with it... whoever the TS may be, if this thread gives him enjoyment, so be it... just like i'm sure the inconsiderate range user thread gave inthehole a lot of pleasure to rant and rave...
and even got an apology from me... wow...
you guys need to just leave it be, if you are unhappy with this topic, just dont click and view it... dont have to make it any of your business...
i for one just enjoy reading the post that bangla writes... it provides me with far more entertainment than some other garbage posts that i've seen...
especially from the people that do not have the decency to approach another man in person but rather wish to rant and rave above their behavior on a public forum...
SCREW WHAT THE REST MAY SAY... KUDOS TO YOU BANGLA123!!!

| in many occasion the words why is being viewed more then what it meants. WHY is a question of reason and logic on something. It should not be viewed as a statement of displeasure, disagreement on the topics being question. what you like is subjective lah. No body will disagree on that or even ask why So Bangla123 can just reply to my question with cause I like it | |

| googled it and it's 2022. So there is another roughly 11 years to go for Keppel and after that relocation and probably some top up to build the new course.

| Hi Master, Its good to know that our psychic connection still remains after so long. However, due to my inability to offer tea, steamed chicken and roast pork in recent months, your senses have grown rusty, and you have started to develop "funny feelings" It is with my most sincere apologies that I have failed you and I'm not the thread starter. I have moved on to a more democratic environment than The Republic, by which the very name is stigmatised by the numerous fallen Republics which we have encountered in popular folk fiction and hollywood. Indeed, the forums needs spice the way a laksa needs cockles. Unfortunately, this is a case of "Mee Siam Mai Hum" Anyway, it is still heartwarming to hear you mention my name and the very sound of your voice still sends tingles down my spine. I hope to be able to pay you a visit soon, maybe the week after next as this weekend I will be away in a foreign land where nobody complains about anything except the soap that they use in the bathtubs. oops, maybe that's a little too much information for this family friendly environment. At the same time, I would like to say to my pigment-endowed friend, mr bangla, that whilst your issues are extremely valid, and I fully agree with your concerns, this is after all, a golf forum. Many have come before you, thinking that this is a Republic, but unfortunately, it is more inclined to the former part of its name rather than the latter. My socially-conscious, pigment-endowed friend, maybe you could think about the make-up of singaporean society and cast your social influence upon the next biggest life-force driving the progress of our nation. They can be found every sunday at Lucky Plaza or at the field opposite Mustafa Plaza. I am sure your democratic ideals and ideas will be very welcome there, and you might even walk away a happy and satisfied man. Just my few cents worth, pls take no offence, and if you so happen to have to take offence, please take very little of it. Thanks. p.s. see you soon Master. - DGman wrote:
