Inconsiderate forum User?

Hi everyone,
I am wondering after reading through a few topics in this forum.
As I am new to Singapore culture,
is it common culture for Singaporeans to complain on internet of things or people they do not agree with?

You obviously haven't seen Stomp.sg

Bangla: Sometimes the complain is to seek other opinion as well as provide awareness to fellow forumers...... By the way, the medium is not only internet! Hahaha!
PS: Actually wanted to complain why you ask this type of question! No value leh...

Wow this is a fantastic concept! back home,hiding behind a computer and complaining/snitching about people would be considered an act of cowardice, but in Singapore its an everyday occurence! Wonderful country and people in Singapore

people do what they want in the way the way and with whoever they want.
No body force you to read the forum, not happy then don't read. Even better find them and confront them and deal with them yourself. Dont' rant in the forum wasting bandwdith and space. You are the same just like the very ppl you're complaining about.

I'm not sure if you'd popped by other forums, but a lot of expat forums has plenty of whines and complaints about Bangkok too.

Oh, the Western foreigners (we call them 'farangs') take it a notch up. They write to the mainstream press with their whines and complaints too.... Along with their challenges of settling it one-on-one with a knuckle duster in the shady alleys of Klong Toey (a pretty famous slum area in Bangkok) openly in the mainstream press.

I always get a kick reading all these stuff. Kills boredom at the office.

In case you're wondering:
1) Yes, I'm a Singaporean.
2) What you see 'whining' on here are really nothing much. Perhaps its just a mosquito bite, a smack and its dead and gone.

Not too sure if I'd read the threadstarter's post correctly, but I've seen uglier folks of other Nationalities.

It just want to sow discontent among forumer and then laugh behind the screen just like the very ppl it complained about.

The more you comment the happier this type of thing gets and moderator should just ban them straight away as they contribute absolutely nothing and generally is a waste of time.

this is a valid topic no matter the country...

it is unfair for bangla123 to call out singaporeans in particular cos this breed of ppl who choose to turn to the media to seek out affirmation, confirmation and support online or otherwise exists in any other race... and i do despise ppl that need to seek out other's opinion or merely rant...

as for me, i'd much prefer to ask the guy face to face to meet me in a well lit alley (its really hard to fight in the dark for those who have not tried) and lets get a little cardio done while we're at it...

wah fighting is cardio meh ? won't even last 30 minutes lah how to say it's cardio, your body temperature hardly raise after 20 seconds.
The Street fight that I experience normally ends in 10 punches give or take. If you hit on a martial art then even faster. 1 hit KO.
all those movies are bs lah. One punch to face you're down, then kick, elbow, knee. how to get up already. Anyway nowadays no used lah. Brain is more important. Tai Chi also good for health and office politics. Healthy enough lah, no need to punch here punch there. Just reserve the energy to hit the golf ball and that 250m drive (not me.)

haha... you actually burn up a lot more calories in a street fight due to the increase adrenalin levels that could last up to 4 hours... and the adrenalin would act as a metabolic accelerator for the next 4 hours...

of course brain is more impt but sometimes when ppl are really just too much, isn't it fun to just have a little scuffle once in a while?

that one is from running away kenna chased by police or the apponent gang lah.. not adrenaline

haha... no lah... the police is extra adrenalin... so instead of 4 hours now you get 6 hours...

wow... we've found a use for the policemen in singapore... thus far i've found them to be absolutely useless and bums...

I'm only basing this on the other thread I read about a complaint against noisy range people, was just wondering inthatnis the normal way of handling things in Singapore . Have a cucumber juice my friends ! Relax:)

I do not think it is a problem. You have the right to start your thread with whatever you like to say or ask. As long as we do not go into polities or religion stuffs ...

However, do respect all culture of every countries and they will learn to respect your too.

It show that you are rather an outspoken guy when you ask as you wanted to know .. We are just as outspoken as an Singaporean too.

i have a funny feeling the thread starter is MT aka Redbull 2 in disguise.

the forum needs spice once in a while, so while the thread starter is deceptively rude, i happen to think that he or she has a great sense of humour.

once in a while its great to be able to laugh at ourselves.

sorry i have been off the last couple of days...hard disk crash. thank goodness my indian friend was able to help me do a 30 hour hard disk recovery and a new hard disk later, its none the worse now.
