Does skin really help in UV protection? Cuz my suntan lotion doesn't really help...

Aha...because you use suntan instead of sunblock lotion! Razz

SKINS help because it has SPF50 protection. However, one must truly take full precaution from the sun so you still need to constantly apply that sunblock (I reccomend at least SPF30 for the lotion or spray) on your neck, ears and legs (if you are wearing bermudas) during your 18 holes.

Get the CROM slate, then your SKINS will not have stains easily.

A big YES from me. I so surprised when my body feel moist after game in the hot hot Sun. You can see clear the difference on the right hand versus to arm that covered with Skinz.

bought the Skins sleeve but it was a bit too tight (already bought the biggest size). Does it expand in size? The Nike thermal sleeve are a more comfortable fit however the skins are definitely of a better quality, protection and feel (more comfortable also is it wasnt so tight).

only problem is i sweat so much, the Nike thermal sleeve makes a better handkerchief.

Skins also make your arms looks more muscular Very Happy and attractive.... no hairy, sweaty, flabby, dark skin with spots all over, arms.

only complain is the wording SKINS in yellow (mine are white arm sleeves).....makes you look pro which will make you look like an idiot when you tee off. maybe is its a bit less conspicuous

Sorry bro, that one you got to ask the retailers. They would be able to tell. I remember before that my colleague bought white, I could be wrong. Nevertheless, do find out more the retailers.

Ask Frostee or Golfamigo, either of them would be able to advice.

Frostee/Golfamigo, mind to model yourself in this new skin color and post it here ? Very Happy

I'm so getting skins... just unsure of which color. Black/White/Slate ?

Great. What effect does it have on the lower part of the body? Is it worth considering?

it help supports the lower butt lor... cant recall the specific muscle group, but read from ST HEALTH that weakness here leads to lower back strain, which i m experiencing...

worth considering if you hv previous injury or weakness in "zha ma"...

like they say, if you feel better wearing it, dun ask further... i wear it even to range, if i can find the time to change.

it's no magic pants too lah... i still can strain my hip muscle with it...

i believe wearing the tights will help ur games as well... for the swing, the legs provide stability and strength... keep them fresh can help your swing...

Even with buggy, we still have to walk. the tights will help to transfer the lactic acid away faster keeping them in good condition... when they are in good condition, it helps ur swing again..

half... 3/4 more for ladies lah, it would go pass the knee-cap and BFG does not have them in stock... was thinking of getting the full length one, as i m tired of applying sunblock lotion on the leg and the "organic" sock line, plus i dun like to wear long pants to golf.

I don't know if you can try or not; but actually there are the manufacturer recommended sizes based on chest measurements.

I think it would be best to follow the recommended measurements; e.g. if you're not used to wearing it; it might feel very tight and restrictive; then if you decide to go a size larger; you might not be experiencing the desired effects as designed... so I think it's better to stick to the recommended sizes based on your body measurements.

Just my 2cents.. Smile

yes, you can. The sizing has to be tight and go by your chest size. The chart is available on skinz website.

The one that I bought from my mates as a gift, he absolutely liked it. He is now a believer like me. The first time he heard of skinz, he said what skin.. now, he recommends it to my other colleagues..
