Anybody here played Mission Hills Shenzhen in Dec?

I might be in HK for about 1 month this coming Dec. So thought of bringing my set over and see if got chance to play there during Winter. Is it too cold for golf during this period?? Thanks in advance.

Not at the moment but by Dec everything should be up and running. Anyway, wife will be working in HK for a month and as it is school holiday, might as well uproot the whole family there. Guess if possible to golf, then might as well have a few games there if weather permits. If everything goes well next week, I will be calling you for a game. If did not call, then still not settle. hey Titu, generally temp is around 15-20 deg during this period, quite cooling and ideal for a good day out imo, unless the winds and rain decide to come by which would then take the temp a further few degs down.

Hi Joe, Tks. That sounds perfect for me. Now I have something to look forward for.

December in Shenzhen is perfect for golf, cool teens and low twenties. You can play in short sleeves and shorts, just cover yourself with a windbreaker.

I may be there too, so let's see if we can fix something. If you have OCBC Elite World Card, we can play at Mission Hills Shenzhen (7 courses there) for free. Just need to book in advance.

There are also many other nice courses in Shenzhen for you to try. You can even cross over to HK and play the famous Kau Sai Chau.

PS: Actually I will be staying in HK for that duration.

no worries, you have Zhuhai as an option as well. Lakewood has affiliation with NSRCC if you are member. Otherwise there are plenty of other good courses for you to choose from in these 2 areas.

Dont want to go home disappointed not being able to play golf at all.. ><

Some courses have max handicap limit..
Make sure to bring along your handicap card with you as well..

just been there on Monday on Nick Faldo. I don't have any issue going in with the tour guide arrangement. I don't think they even asked for handicap. Not that I'm aware off.

Mission Hills got so many courses.. Even if there is tournament on, there will be some courses available..

Some golf courses may not care that much..
I guess depends on the GC..

In HK, they do ask for your handicap..
As they do not want slow play..

You mentioned.. Tour guide.. They might have pre-booked for you as well..
Do you booked your tour from Singapore? or from HK? or SZ?
