| Good to see Tiger back in action.
After 12 weeks recuperation, emerging more cut, edgier, with a new goatee. Someone said Evil Tiger. I like it.
Old putter, new shoes.
Swing looks much better, more natural, turning to left side comfortably.
No birdie yet, all pars through 8 holes. So far so good.

| Clean score card thru first 9, even par. No birdie but a couple of impressive par saves.
Beautiful approach at the 10th, spins back a wedge, and makes the putt. First birdie of the day, finally.

And your recent back pain too? If so, friendly suggestion, perhaps you ought to re-look at your swing. You're too young to be in so much pain dude.

| Meanwhile, after that birdie on the 10th has opened the doors, another birdie at the 11th.
In good shape so far. | |

| 16th Hole Par 5 667 yards
1. 319yds to Right Rough, 347yds to hole 2. 269yds to Right Fairway, 78yds to hole 3. 88yds to Green, 31ft 4in to hole 4. in the hole
Double-crossed the tee shot fade way right.
Hit a cut fade 269 yds from the rough with a wood, really bending the shot.
Approach overshot the hole by 31ft, but made the putt anyway.
He's dangerous when he putts like that. Been a while, and good to see his putting in such form again.

| 18th Hole Par 4 464 yards
1. 313yds to Right Rough, 163yds to hole 2. 146yds to Left Rough, 18yds to hole 3. 20yds to Green, 4ft 5in to hole 4. in the hole
Misses the fairway.
Misses the green, left rough next to the bunker lip, awkward stance.
Despite that, pitches with a lovely touch to 4ft, and makes the putt.
Fascinating to watch.
Closes round at -2. | |

| It's Nike for sure. It's the Nike Free golf shoe and supposedly le Tigre has helped to designed this. I had a pair of the Nike Free training shoes and they were very lightweight, so U can say that my interest is piqued. Also new for him is his new Graphite Design DI or DJ shaft. | |

| The camera focused on his shoes several times. Nike got a ton of publicity. Anything this man touches, it will sell. That's why they pay him big $$$. | |

| It's based on the Nike FREE Run shoes. So those who have tried it will know how comfortable these shoes are. I'm sure Nike is cranking up production and launching a campaign on this soon. Especially if Tiger does well, the launch will be expedited! | |

| Tiger liked the running shoes, and asked Nike to convert one to play golf. It allows the feet to move comfortably, putting less stress on the knees.
None available yet since Tiger is wearing the first prototype. Let's see how fast Nike can ramp up its product development cycle for this.
