I just feel the need to let every golfers know the incident that I had just encountered an hour ago.
Finished my game at NSRCC Changi and walked back to my car. As I was approaching it, I noticed a man standing besides my car with his car doors (driver side and back) opened. When I got to my boot, a drinking flask and it's cap were seated on it. The guy took them away without apologizing. I kept quiet and then saw his opened door end leaning against my car.
I told him politely that he should have kept some distance on it and not allowing the door to knock against my car and worst leaving it in contact. He told me off in a very rude manner saying that he loves his car too and it is only touching and never knocked on my car. Then he started asking what do I want with his hooligan tone. The next thing I saw after closing my boot, he took out a rod (so stupid as though it can kill me) and walked towards me in a fury ready to hit me any second. I reckoned that and I got so fed up that I challenged him and asked him to hit me, pointing my face with my index finger. He almost tried to do so while I stared at him and waited for him to make the first move. He held back and blurted some vulgar language before moving into his car. I told him he has no balls and he drove off.
As a matter of fact, I was rushing for time or else I would have reported police on the spot and sue him for attempting to attack me with a weapon.
The more I think of that the more I feel I must expose this guy. He drives a dark blue Lexux G300 with registration 833. Middle aged around 45+.
If you are the idiot car owner reading this right now, big shame on you and if you want to play bastard and think I'm good to be trifled with, try me again. I'm game with you both on the legal side and underground. I'll sue you till you drive a "BIG" mecerdes benz.
My dear friends, if you ever meet this idiot, give him a BIG LAUGH for such a loser and oooppss.. beware... he may take out his ROD again.
Certainly a damn ugly singaporean who think he is rich and can do anything under the sky! Bro, you shld not let this bastard off so easily. By your description, his actions are tantamount to an offence under the Penal Code. U may go online to check Sec 509 of the Penal Code Chapter 224 (if I am not wrong) and press charges against him Teach this F...king bully a lesson by sending him to jail or if not a fine or compensation. Do it bro. In such a small country, we hate to see bullies. KG: omg..... PENAL CODE 224, SECTION 509 Word or gesture intended to insult the modesty of a woman509. | i think LLP should make a police report. Although there isnt any witness (hopefully there is) or proof, at least there is a record. IF this fella was caught somewhere else hitting people with a ROD or club, at least he has a record with the police and the case will be more definite too.
For you and the others that might or gonna be hurt by this crap, it will be advisable to go and make a police report.

Familiar reply. I personally have encountered a personal experience with our police force. Around our estate in Holland Vilage, there is this cat lover who leaves cat food consisting of plastic containers of water ( attracting breeding of mosquitoes, cooked mince meat which attracts flies and unwanted parasites like big brown hair dropping rats, dried food all over HV.) During one of this feeding session, as she was laying the food outside our apartment block fence, a patrol car happened to pass by and I managed to stop it and complained to the sargent inside. Guess whats the reply. Sorry sir, not our problem. Please call NEA and just drove off ... $%#@$%&%^&&*^&^ !!!!!!!!!!

Familiar reply. How to handle such incident: Record the officer's name and rank. Record down the date and time of your visit to the NPC/NPP. Inform the officer that you will be:- Writing a letter to SPF and his commander to inform them of this issue. Note: Every Singapore citizen has the right to file a report should the case be factual, be it anyone hurt or not. I believe SPF will not condone any sign of attempted criminal intimidation. I would like to believe the SPF would prefer to prevent the incident from happening rather than wait for the things to happen then come and collect shit. Isnt one of their motto as "protect the citizen"?

Bro, do you dare to try throwing a piece of litter right in front of a policeman? If he tries to fine you, would you dare to tell him it is not his duty to catch you. It is NEA 's? Rest my case. Personally I think our police force is pushing away too much of its responsibilties to other Dept. Though it falls into another Ministry responsibility, they could be the frontline by catching the culprit first and then hand them over to their counterparts. BUT IT IS NOT HAPPENING HERE AT ALL !Sorry my rant...

| if the police comes in, its one guys word against another? what can they do? They other may say you threaten him so he took the rod as protection (i have seen it many times, the police cannot go by their instinct and say a person is lying, they just have to record the 'facts'. Many times the best liar 'wins').
Also the first person to file a report usually 'wins' also. The police have to be neutral if not can 'favor' friends, people they like, people who looks and sound more trust worthy etc (although this still goes on)

- IMHO, no witness no proof you still can report police but still... unless evidence produced in court like witnesses or camera/ video recordings. If everyone goes to the police withut any evidence,at most the other party is invited for coffee session. he can deny all charges and might turn over the story from black to white. I have seen too many cases like this, unless you have justification or solid evidence to proof yourself. if not, juz let it go and let kara comes to him. Section panel code is only used as a guidline for the law.
LLP's description of his encounter is different from the verbal abuses u guys experience. Holding a rod threatening someone is tantamount to a penal offence. I am very sure of this if LLP is telling the whole truth and nothing but the truth. What hard evidence, video recordings are not necessary. A police report can nail him even he is good in twisting and turning. Why tolerate such behaviour. F...king bad for our society.
LLP - if u wish to pursue, pls PM me. I teach how to nail him without u incurring a single cent. It is only a little of your time and effort uncivilised pple like 833 will get punished. Hmm.. I have experienced worst than that. Well, it just a suggestion, best if evidence could be produced. I, too don't wish to encounter this type of ppl. Worst is having my son ard me momst of the time. You know how SPF works, no evidence, no case. If everyone makes a report, just based on a storyline, do you think that person can be nailed?

| Section 507
Whoever commits the offence of criminal intimidation by an anonymous communication, or by having taken precautions to conceal the name or abode of the person from whom the threat comes, shall be punished with imprisonment for a term which may extend to 2 years, in addition to the punishment provided for the offence by section 506.
i even got such experience with the car owner at my own multi car park, i am in the car then the one beside me knock on the door which is the driver side. i came down told the person please be careful then next moment another knock from behind the passenger side.
The reply for the guys aiya we live in the same block never mind la, i show him the 50 and 1 dollar size dent it created on my car. He see already just walk off, without say anything too. What can i do in the end i just remember to plate number and try not to park beside him and pray daily that he doesn't happen to park beside me.

I think Singapore has a "hands off" policy towards animal lovers, be it cat lovers, dogs, birds..... even if they broke the law by leaving cooked food anywhere which in itself will attract desease bearing parasites like flies, desease bearing mouse... . Example is my case mentioned above.
