Don bluff..... I was wondering why the rain was yellow when I was just settling in to roost. I'm not sure I understand... but coming from Birdman, I've learned not to ask A wise man indeed. Buuut.... I'll say it anyway, or ask it. What do most golfers who stroll into the woods and bushes do... besides looking for balls? | |

| Before teeing off on the first tee. I slow down my tempo. When I get tensed, my movements become to quick, I will then forget to turn and hook the ball left. | |

| Sorry for jumping in on this one. Here my Personal opinion only. No doubt everyone got nervous even for the pro on 1st hole tee off. However, I felt that the more experience you are, the less nervous you get. I still remember the 1st time I took up golf. On the 1st hole tee off with only 3 players and 4 caddies, total of 7 pairs of eyes watching me. It felt like 140 pairs of eyes to me at that time. How to swing like that .... As years goes by, playing more, played more tournament, played with more stranger .. It can be better mentally for me. I never get nerve when playing with regular golf buddies. In fact, I voluntarily to tee off 1st. I do not know, maybe it come down to how confidence or how much you trust your own swing. That does not mean that I am swing well !! I always tell myself before tee off, if I do hit a bad shot on the 1st tee off .. " So what ? the game just started .. at least 3 hours and 59 more minute to go " However, I do swing rather much slower on all my shot on the 1st holes ... Just wanted to feel the swings .. How much slower ? ... hell know .. 80%, 50% ? how to know .... Oh, once more tip ( I think I ever mention) .. wear like pro when you are in a tournament. You never know what other player or fear in you when they look at you on the tee off. They muct be thinking " wow.. the guy must be good". After you tee off. They will say " Shit, he is just an beginner " | |
