Hi everyone. Didn't know that a golf forum such as this exists. Found out quite by accident when looking for info regarding handicapping.

Terrific to have such a forumthrough, so well done to the creators.

Picked up golf about 5 years ago and it was an on / off hobby. Mostly off as I have young kids that need ferrying around on weekends.

Picked up the clubs again after 18 long months. Quite dusty the clubs are too

Also just signed up for a refresher course and hope to get playing at least once a month, somewhere. Kinda difficult to do so in Spore imo as they are strict about having a HC. 5 cards and all that in order to get a coutesy round. Bit hard to get the 5 cards locally in the first place unless someone allows you time of day to play.

Any suggestions? I believe Golfkaki (NTU) has a tie up with OCC and they allow you play on weekdays with a PC? True or not?

u can play at Marina Bay golf Course and OCC. but u need to hv a swing test before the game.

if you have the time try to go to batam/bintan/johor for your round. They don't require handicap so you can just play off PC.

I'm not sure if you can play with PC on OCC, another alternative is to play in Marina Bay. They don't require you to have a handicap but they do require for you to take a swing test to make sure that you can at least hit the ball reasonably well.

With the kids needing attentionon weekends looks kike i havetoplay locally. i may on occassionwheni'msick of work take a days leave and head off to Batam or Bintan for a round.

Hi Adriaan, thanks for the offer. Pity I didn't know about this forum earlier. I've recently committed to a refresher beginners course at Bishan. I do envisage that I will like to progress further later in the year and will need more lessons. Will look you up then.
