Cobra Mens Limited Edition S3 White Driver

Saw this at FESC - quoted me SGD700+!!! Online cheaper leh... Or there is a diff between what is sold here and from TGW? Anyone can advise? Thanks in advance!

Price difference could be the shaft it come with.

this one is aldila rip. what was the shaft installed on FESC's stock?

BFG has the asia spec ltd with tour ad shaft from Japan

but seems like many "limited" versions...even FESC got stock, not so limited after all

Yes .there is a different in shaft for US spec and Asian spec . Saw the driver and is pretty close face

Greenfield is selling a used one. One of the owners of Greenfield quoted me at $500+++. Not worthwhile!

Brand new from Golfsmith is about that price. If one includes courier and GST, it should be below S$600.

US Spec = RIP Shaft
Asian Spec = Tour AD Shaft

I feel the Tour AD Shaft is a better shaft than the RIP Shaft

One can get the US Spec S3 (White) for around SG$500 (landed) off eBay

For more details abt the Asian apex driver, go to te cobra golf korean website. Very good quality control cos the difference in cpm in the same spec driver was less than 1cpm.

No! You can actually buy it from Golfsmith online store. But it is shafted with Aldila RIP Beta. Price - US$350 (excludes courier charge + GST 7%). Total Landed Price - S$537 (exch rate S$1.3 to US$1) which is alot cheaper than buying from Vinc Sport and the used one from Greenfield.

Using S2 now and it feels good!

How different is the S3 compared to S2??

im using the S3 white now

tried the s2.

basicaly, the s3 feels more solid compared to the s2. the s2 driver head has an empty feel to it. the shaft is also not as good compared to the s3.

my s3 is on tour ad DJ.. so i think cannot compare..

overall, the s3 very forgiving. i will say it will be suitable even for golfers who jus started...

Depends on ur swing speed. Naturally for us Asians, tour ad is so called more suitable. There is no hard and fast rule. Sole depends on ur swing, swing speed, preference etc. I can also whack the rip shaft quite well. In e end, prefer tour ad cos easy to hit even when tired.

Perhaps u go to a club fitter and access ur swing. He will be able to advise u

You can buy it now since it is a limited edition driver, and keep till you're ready to sue it. While you are not ready yet, you take it out, polish it and ogle at it regularly.

If 850 dollars plus is no biggie to you then do buy as it is beautiful. No other driver looks like it.

But performance wise, i believe this is not worth the extra dollars. Our beginner swing still suck regardless I'd pay a coach for 8 lessons instead.

It's not as hard cos it's still adjustable on the head. Just that it's not a driver which u would want a sky mark on it.

Bro, if you buy it from Golfsmith, it is only about S$600 (includes GST and FEDEX courier charge). But Golfsmith is selling a US spec and hence, the shaft is different.

If you buy it from Vinc Sport, Henry will probably give you 20-25% off the retail price as discount.

Good price too at USD300. Now I can't bear to use it cos it's simply tooooo swee!
