- Hi Guys, question from this newbie again...
I'm starting to feel that my driver's shaft don't fit me as I'm feeling that its very light as compared to my fren's Ping G10 on stock shaft.
Really have no feel or knowledge on shaft at this moment...
Currently using stock shaft which came with my TM R7 Draw... but dunno wat brand... its stated RE AX FLEX S 50 on the shaft...
Need some input on what is the common shaft used by bros here?
I know the best solution is go to a fitter but hope to learn more abt shaft before doing that...
Thanks... jtek: IMHO, try as many shafts as you can until you find the ones that you feel most comfortable with. Visit demo days, Golf House, driving range, BFG to try. There exists some shafts that you will like. I used to think fitting was the only way to go but it doesn't have to be the case. The club fitter can recommend stuff but it is YOU who ultimately must like it. If you like the Ping G10 stock shaft, go ahead and try them. In fact, I believe that the G10 might be the driver for you. Good luck.

| I think there's no charge (DGMan can confirm this) for the analysis.
If you want to get your swing analyzed, please come dressed in golf gear. I made the mistake of coming in my office attire and it doesn't record an accurate swingspeed since your clothing can impede your swing. Come as if you're going to play golf to get the best results.
If you can bring some food, that would be good too.

| Just want to clearify...
Those with swing speed lower than supposed to be, using Stiff shaft, what will the ball flight/shape looks like ?'
And how about the other way around ? Higher swing speed using regular flex ?

i am stuck at 210-220m... How is that bad? 210-220m is pretty good. Also, I'm guessing you're using your range distance here. In actual fact, your drive should be longer because range balls don't always give you enough compression to get accurate distance. You should be a little bit longer.

You should be a little bit longer. bro my range dist is shorter.... 210m is i see myself up.... i hope to tee longer so tht i got better chance when playing off blue... if the tee off ard 210-220, it will be tough on par 4 off the blue tee (i think average dist ard 400m) so i will need 180m to the green for regulation... no matter how good you are, 130-140m into the green is anytime better then 180m.. i dun think i can swing any faster then now... from my physical limitation as of now... so besides doin something crazy over my crazy swing... wonder if there's any equipment to help on my drive...
