What is Fandi Ahmad saying?

I keep seeing the S-league ad by Fandi Ahmad and Rod Monteiro on The Golf Channel, and I don't understand what Fandi is saying:

".... every friday, I want to see the fans coming to Jalan Besar, even if it is live"

Isn't the game always live at the stadium? Question

And you wonder why lcoal football is not successful? Look at the quality of the advertisement... Trying to draw people to watch the game... And at the same time making a big fool out of one of the most prolific footballer Singapore have...

Heard Fandi's story is a sad one.

Earn million dollars playing football during the hey day.

But trusted the wrong people and had many failed business ventures. People capitalised on his kind heartedness and borrowed from him money but did not pay back. Got a pretty model wife but is not sickly. Now he doesnt have much money anymore.

i think singaporeans like to chop up and truncate sentences.

let me rephrase it: "I want to see fans coming to Jalan Besar stadium to watch the matches every Friday, eventhough it is broadcast Live on TV."

Now my question would be... Do they broadcast live matches? What a Face

On the part that "singaporeans like to chop up & truncate sentences", I couldn't agree more... especially when we speak.. not too bad when it comes to writing though... my 2 cents worth
