I maintain my handicap at Tanjong Puteri..It is indeed handicap 20, when i first came back from Dubai 5 months ago.I have handicap card to proof it. I am also an absentee member in Sembawang Country Club and never played there for the last 3 years since i was overeas. As an absentee member, all rights to the club is suspended. Loudmouth, Mengteck are all Sembawang members, they can check when my last game was.. I haven't played a single game there last 2 years. I recently activated my membership and was told that my handicap is ridiculously 12... New ruling apparently, i don't know how it came about....That's the truth.. After knowing my new OFFICIAL lower handicap as 12, I declared 12 for the SAFRA annual game. You can check with Daniel Chong of SAFRA annual game.. I declared handicap of 12 and not 20!! There was never really any intent to hookwink anyone into my real OFFICIAL handicap. Birdman asked me during the GR annual handicap. I came clean and stated my handicap as 12.. not 20.. No difference to the annual game as it was System 36. Hope this explains. It's up to the GR committee and mob to decide if this is clear and acceptable... I have to date not won anything, not won anybody's $$$.. and it's only very social... ..

Correction, I have to be honest here. KLT did not generously give you 2 strokes for the back nine. You asked him for it because you were down 4 holes and KLT had to give you 2 stokes and you went further and ask KLT to double up the bets but KLT rejected. One more thing you also made $5 from KLT when you had a birdie.

In view of the various comments above, I would like to request the GR committee for the League games to remove my name from the League Challenge. However, subject to management concurrence, i would like to continue to remain in GR, as i do enjoy the fun folks and good commaraderie. If there is going to be further games with my bros here.. it will always be "hua hi dio hoe"! ZX, thanks for including me your game in TMCC.. it's on ar!!

However, in light of your 12 handicap, there is no reason for you to be in division 2. As u mentioned yourself, you played badly against klt and still scored in the 90s ... correct me if I am wrong, but i think most players in division 2 have to play a decent game to be in the 90s.

Perhaps the marshals of div 2 and div 1 can agree to move you to middle of div 1?
