Slinger, how? Since you've see us both play, what are the odds of me lasting past the 14th hole from black?????? u will have to pull a monkey out of your a$$ to last 14 holes with rexy....
dun talk abt winning.... dammit...this is a very busy week for me...now where the hell am i going to find a monkey that'll fit up my ass...?
just to be clear, does the monkey have to be up my ass for the whole 18 holes or can i pull it out on the first tee?????
and for further clarity...no one is allowed to spank my monkey.... (sorry, that was just begging to be said) u can always go in a gorilla suit..... talking abt spanking the monkey..... if u get the monkey spanked the nite before, i heard its better than a prayer.... but its heresay do let me know if it works though....

dun talk abt winning.... Dun liddat la. Me never practice for very long liao. We all suffer from the black. Its an endurance battle. However, we try and not create slow play ok? If not, back flight will kbkp.

Even though it's a GR challenge, feel free to ask ard what we wud do in certain situations.

| I look forward to this game.
Much as I've been out of touch these past 2 weeks due to an audit, this is a much deserved break to get me away from wk.
Gardens is always a special course to me. I wud love it no matter the scores just becos of it's playing conditions.

| Hey Alvin, let's do the league challenge at MBGC next month when the black tees are open.
Ivan tentatively set the date at 18 Aug, last flight member Golfool.
Ok? | |

Luckily u playing w Senmin, only a greens committee member of a country club. If he was SGA committee member, u sure kenna questioned one.

| I'd like to thank my flightmates for being so concerned about my beautiful forged irons being scratched that we played from the black tee.....never got a chance to hit my irons....it was driver, wood, wedge, putter......never been so humbled on the golf course ever...watching jon and rex hit it a mile was amazing (440m par 4, back pin..no problem...still putting for birdie)...and we all realized that nick is the black tee king..... Look at my avatar...that's exactly how i felt before the game...eager and excited to play tanah merah gardens.....now look below, this is how i felt after my dear flightmates mistakenly took me to botanic gardens.... | |

| that was hysterical.
everyone in my flight had a lower score than me...how to be black tee king. I return with a satisfying 105, but i was still the only 100 plus member in the flight.

| Things we learn today:
- Playing from the tips does not contribute to slow play. Our flight finished easily under 4hr.
- Singaporeans cannot be praised. Right after being christened 'Black Tee King', a jug of watermelon juice was guaranteed.
- TMCC has really slow greens and sandy tees on Friday. Dunno what the $220 fees go to.
- Distance is really over-rated. Placing is more impt......unless you play TMCC where u have no place to land if you have no distance. Also, coming into elevated convex greens with long clubs is not the way to go.
- Hybrids are really fun to use.
- You can actually chase a 3 wd into the wind 260yds in Singapore.
- TMCC has a great team of courteous service and greens staff. I guess thats the effect of having Jeyakumar and WKS playing golf at the club.
- Breast pumps are really expensive.

| I take it that mr wan is going back to natural milk...... But this time round, mayb both nipples will be bruised..... I gather that mr wan is keen for a rematch soon..... Kranji got black tees on Thursday But at least got chance to use irons though..... | |

| We wanted to do an experiment during today's challenge today - That distance does matter contrary to what some wise folks here have debated. Having had some feedback on my dear Golfool's prowess of the game, I am pretty certain he would have gotten ard the garden course decently if we had played off blue or white. However, pulling him back to the black, with the strong gusty arvo winds, it was quite apparent midway that it wasn't really a fair fight even tho I am no Gary Woodland....almost like taking candy from a baby (literally looking at the avatar and pic). I played a horrendous front and an ok back nine. Some embarrassingly horrible shots were followed by some unexpectedly miraculously good ones. GF's strength of the woods and hybrids managed to keep it somewhat sorta a close fight but we have decided that we should play at a neutral mid-length course to make the challenge fair. Today, we were just asking for it. A couple of photos of happy faces before our games. You can be sure that this wasn't the case after 4 gruelling hrs. | |
