Golf Republic Challenge League - Strictly Table and Rules & Regulations

For the next league (if any), please consider my earlier suggestions : (1) If the one on top, after challenged, wins; then he should go up by at least one slot. This way, there is incentive for the one being challenged, as well as for the challenger. Currently, there is no incentive for being challenged, as if he/she wins, there is nothing for him/her (with the exception of maybe $$ and goodwill/badwill?
(2) If the one on top is more than 5 slots away, then if the committee approves the challenge, he/she should drop only 5 slots if he loses...

I thought this was settled and happily accepted by you the first time around?

Suggestion for subsequent league, Birdman....
This follows other suggestions, and since we last accepted, i spoke to several higher up folkies, who also felt that this can be considered.
If you think the suggestion merits no consideration in future, i rest my case.. you are, afterall more senior and experienced in GR... cheers.
