I have few other suggestions...

First, there is no incentive for those who defends his rank and no punishment for those who fails to increase his rank. I can't think of what to give for the first but for the latter, their rank should drop by 1.

Second, there will be those who are really active while on the other hand those who are passive. There might be occasions where those 5 ranks above you are all passives one. So, I suggest the committee can make exception for these people. Of course, those affected should send pm to committee...

Third, rather than flooding the normal, we should create another special section for updating the rank, asking and accepting challenge, etc..

Mengteck, we will count you in.

For the rest, pls update your hcp asap.

ranking is not the end bros/sistas, it's just a means so that we can have a friendly competition and meet new kakis, and hopefully by playing up level, we improve our skills, our knowledge of rules and mental focus on the course as side product. At least that's for me

Can I suggest... In order to discourage inactive members, they should suffer some form of penalty... i.e. say 2 levels drop for every inactive month. And if consecutively inactive for 3 months, his/ her slot will be forfeited and a new member introduced. So we should also be maintaining a waiting list to standby keen GRians join the league.
