Commanable effort though... Kevin Na submitted a 16 as he wasn't sure what he shot in the end and didn't want to get disqualified... In the end, he came in with a 80
Good effort for hitting a 16 though

He was mic-ed up so he was saying he hit a ton of rocks plus he had a lot of twigs and stuff stuck to his clothes.
Said his hands were still numb 1 hole after that dreaded 16.

the man could have hit 6-iron 3 times to play a double bogey at most (3 on and 3 putt).
and save 10 strokes.

From twitter... I couldn't agree more
@JasonSobel - many of you have said today, "Hey, I can make a 16 on one hole, too!" Sure, but can you still shoot 80 for 18 holes? Yea, didn't think so.

Shit happens to everyone I guess.
Then again on the flip side, shooting a 16 on one hole and carded a 80 is rather commendable.

carding an 80 stroke round after getting a 16 on that par 4 is impressive...
imagine taking all the other holes the same but that whole is just parred.. he would score a 68... or even double bogey 70.. still 2 under..

I saw the game. Kevin Na unable to get the ball out from the "wood" after 10 strokes. Poor guy....He should just take penalty and still maybe get double boogey or worst triple... by the way, i heard that he has bad habits too, throw his club and also arrogant.

You cannot just say a ball is lost, unfortunatley you must look for it... and if you (or your playing partner who wants you to be in trouble) finds it... tough luck it is in play....
You can.. on the tee say "I will play provisional for lost ball" but you still must look for first one...

He could have also declared the ball unplayable and returned to the tee. But I am guessing he thought he could have at least gotten it back in play..
Have had that happen more times than I would like to admit in tournament play, where the prudent play would be to take your medicine and move on with it...instead of trying to be the hero.
At least he has his name in the record books for something....
