Discounted Golf networks?

Have you all heard or members of such golf networks like AGN Golf (www.agngolf.com) and AGS (www.agsgolfclub.com.my) where you pay an annual membership fee and discounted green fees, etc at their participating clubs.

I saw that AGN has a good promo but suspiciously, the tel numbers doesn't work. I like this better cos it's got good list of participating clubs in the region esp Bangkok where I'll be spending a lot of time now.

AGS is mostly for clubs in Malaysia and my Malaysian friends use it. Looks like most of the Malaysian clubs are on this.

Any thoughts? Comments? Warnings?
