| Some times old fashioned is good... Rickie Fowler vs Augusta National Rickie Fowler gets a lesson in Augusta National decorumBy Jay Busbee Everybody's all high on Rickie Fowler these days, in part because he's got some serious game, and in part because he dresses like a popsicle thrown onto the vast, drab sand of golf fashion. He's got attitude! He's got moxie! He's got style! He's EXTREEEEEEEME! He's also not permitted to bring any of that foofaraw into the grounds of Augusta National, as he learned at his press conference. As Golfweek's Jim McCabe reports, Fowler sat down and, as is his style, flipped his cap around backwards. Augusta National member Ron Townsend asked Fowler to turn the cap around. Fowler declined, saying that he wanted people to see his face. Townsend asked him again, and this time, Fowler complied. Score one for the not-so-extreme old guard at Augusta National. | |

| Basic etiquette I guess Bob... I mean he could have always just removed his cap! Unless of course he is contractually bound to wear his Puma cap during press conferences | |

| it really depends on the golf club.. a resort golf club may relax the dress code a bit due to the hot weather and humid conditions.. afterall the guests are there to unwind and relax..
in Augusta, its an old club of "aristocratic" wannabes.. like R&A possibly even.. but where I think R&A has sold out long ago to the tourist dollar, Augusta is still private and stuck up... but that's just me.. hehe

Business idea is to have golf attire that caters to the younger demographics. More "street" golf style with graphics. Standard dri-fit material of course.
Will you consider if the prices are more or less the same as your Nike or Adidas? Show some pics would probably help. It would guide the poll in the right direction as well. Good luck!

| Just wait for the day Augusta chairman Billy Payne or his successor dons a nice JL mockneck and Loud Mouth berms...by then we'd ALL be wearing hot pants. - mizzy wrote:

| Honestly there is already some cool golf gear out there so not sure if its a good business idea. Puma makes some very out there stuff but you really gotta have the game to back it up! | |
