I had the mee goreng (WITH prawns!!) and I loved it (the portion was kinda too much for me though).

But jokes aside we have notified the restaurant about this incident.

Do let us know the next time you come down to Ria Bintan for a meal of Mee Goreng, they just might give you an overdose of prawn

I just played 29 holes (18 +11) at Ria Bintan and I have to say that the ocean course is really beautiful, especially holes 8, 9, 10 and 11 which are along the ocean.

hole number 8, coming round the bend for approach shot, a lovely view of the ocean suddenly appears in front of you. Tremendous headwind on the approach shot.

Hole number 11 is where i did my record distance drive with the help of the strong tail wind coming from the ocean.

Anyway, all in, the course is pretty challenging and well maintained and it was an enjoyable experience except for the ocean course first hole which is the index 1 par 5 which is easy to blow up and then low morale for the remaining 17 holes

I would recommend this place if you can spare a whole day. After golf, can do massage.

Since you are reading, sorry for doing this but i would like to point out the one gripe i had (no one is perfect right? :p ) -
$6 for a can of 100-plus??!! That, in my view, takes exploitation to a new level...

and um, what longest drive contest?

The restaurant itself is currently managed by an external operator and as such we do not have much control over the pricing of the menu. However we have channeled your comment to our restaurant operator over your concern!

You need to understand that beverages sold on courses with sea view do not come cheap..... Besides, your nearest option for a cheap drink is on a ferry ride 45 minutes away.

haha well, bro, nsrcc changi and kranji also got seaview. and 100-plus there is only 2 bucks per can... which is IMHO fair commercial exploitation

but yah lar, in bintan no choice suck thumb, so if want cold drink then gotta pay up lor...

You know what i usually do? Go duty free at TMFT and buy the beer and of to bintanjetty and buy isotonic drinks.

Hi, along the way to the Golf course how's the Golf bag handling? Like on ferry is the Golf bag onboard or? Gonna bring a new Golf bag and don't wanna spoilt it . Thanks

Strongly advise to use a travel bag. Porters available to help load the bags . But they're not as gentle as we would like sometimes..

Alrighty, then I will use a old Golf bag

Just played yesterday. Yes agree, either you bring a golf traveller hard case or use a old golf bag to cushion against golf club knocks etc. For me it was my first time travelling oversea to play and i brought my stand bag.

The course is 7/10. Green was quite fast. Still, a playable and manageable course to play .
