| Came home last night after 3 weeks in Thailand. Even though my wife says she started the car on several occassions, my car battery is deader than a door nail.
Got a set of jumper cables in the boot....BUT the freakin boot won't open cause it's electronic and there's no mechanical way to get the damn thing open either.
Lookin for help in maybe someone has the name/number of a car service company in Singapore that will come to my house and jump my battery.
I live out near Yo Chu Kang and Jalan Kayu (Gerald Gardens).
Any helpers! Any assistance with a name/number much appreciated.

| KT, have you tried calling the local Automobile Association (AA), i.e. AA of Singapore. They'll come with a spare battery. If you're not a member, they'll even come with an application form. I think that's the way it works here - that's how they used to work in Malaysia.
Address 336 River Valley Road #03-00 AA Centre Singapore 238366
Tel 6333 8811 (Main Line) 6748 9911 (24-hour Roadside Assistance Services)

| KT, starting a car is not enuff to charge it so dun blame the missus. Some of the cars need to be driven around in order for the alternator to charge up the battery. I had the same friggin problem for my US car here. Batt died totally despite my colleagues tending it for me. Found out the alternator was dead and the connectors for the batt were pretty rusted up despite just being changed last year (cos I drove thru snow). Best way is to disconnect your (-)ve point for future long overseas trips. It will be alot less painful. | |

Cheers and the car prob was the good news. The bad news is my fish pond pump blew out and lost all but 4 of my Koi. Oh Well, life is up and down so go with the punches and look forward to tomorrow!.
