I start to realize that many pro at the PGA has difficulty of keepign the lead at 3rd round and goin on to win it....

At the transition, Justin rose had the lead and round 4, macam collapse.

That is why i start to appreciate the calibre of Tiger more....

BTW, I do personally have difficulty relating to this coz for matchplay, I am usually down at the 1st hole......

Holding the lead is a challenge for sure, especially at the professional level. The depth of talent in those fields is mind boggling. It can come down to a "one of those days" type things where everything goes well for a guy and he shoots 4 better than the field that day and makes a huge move.

It is weird. Sometimes mentally it is better to be coming from behind because you have nothing to lose and sort of free wheel it. Whereas in the lead you tend to protect and maybe play a little more conservative.

Agreed about Tiger...He is awesome when he has the lead.

Also in your matchplay....if you are 1 down after 1...that gives you all the more motivation to battle back and win!!! Beer
