To take handicapped require pc ?

Hi there , can any pro advise tat to take handicapped is a compulsory to have pc ? I saw from some coach quotation for handicapped , they does require pc n some does not . Sry for the newbie question !

Ok thanks , base on the infor gather from other thread , I guess is no need . It should be up to individual coach requirement .

You do not even need to take those so call 'Intermediate' Courses to get a Handicap.

If you are playing decent, say about 100 per round, I believe you just need to engage an SGA affiliated Club to conduct a Courtesy Round and submit 5 18holes score cards...

Thanks for the infor , actually I am asking for my wife , she had been playing for a year without any pc or handicap but when I try to look for a coach for her , some coach stated pc require thus I am confuse .

wow must play 100 per round to get handicap?

Now i am wondering if someone have no chance to play on 18holes course (Let's say he do not have the luxury/time to go JB to play, Singapore no 18holes allow non-handicap/non-PC OFFICIALLY), how can he get 100 per round? I been playing for quite a while, either i am damn non-talented which i think so, my best score is only a miserable 104. sianz...............

I am going for handicap test soon but my submitted scorecards are average 111, not sure if they accept in this case Hopefully they do, my courtesy round next sunday.

Frankly no need, if they say they need they are trying to con your money by making you go additional courtesy round. There are coaches who can do courtesy round you your wife at a fees. Try to ask the Coaches in this forum, some do. You can try contacting "Shorthitters" he may be able to help.

don worry bro, they will accept as long as you display the right etiquette..etc etc......but HCP for studs like us is 24
