| A MAJOR Thank You to the organisers who led us in volunteering at HSBC. The volunteer game today (and the weather) was wonderful and awesome.
Playing 82 (38 + 44) on Gardens Course for the 1st time ever was something I'll never forget. How true the greens rolled, how plush the fairways were, and how compact the sand in the bunkers were... Simply magnificent!
Walking away with TWO lucky draw prizes was even more awesome! Dinner was wonderful too!
Once again, to my flightmates hardrock and hardrock jr, I had a legendary time.
I guess volunteering has its perks. And this time, the perks were out of this world.

Indeed it was a 'What a Day!' kind of day... I must say the R11 3 Wood didn't really work for me today. In terms of distance, it was there, but not so much on the line that i intended.. Overall, performance with the 3 Wood was like a 6 out of 10. Still need time to get used to it on the course. I know i'm liking it more and more though...

| TFP Agreed, the weather and game was both great and enjoyable I think you will agree with me that another highlight was the lucky draw and the freaking amount of "OB" cat-calls and "draw-rigging" congrats on the wine and balls, where is the WTS?? | |

Was the tees from the tournament tees?
Yes the men tee from the tournament tee. I did not really have a good day. We shotgun start on the 9th hole.(we were team 9B). On the 8th hole, team 9A was teeing up. One of the old man's first tee off went to water, he placed another ball on the tee box, whack the 2nd ball, water and believe it or not he tee up for the 3rd time and got it on. By the time it came to my turn when I was just about to hit my shot the marshal blew the horn and told us to stop play. At first thought was lightning but found out that they needed the buggy for the afternoon flight. And........ did not win any lucky draws. But must say over all I enjoyed myself with my GR friends over lunch and coffee.

Too shocked to response. Anyway I did tell the old man when he was walking towards me that his last shot should have been his first. Indirectly telling him that he should have aimed right and play safe. Was unhappy and had to give him my 2 cents. Because of him we did not finish.

The weather today is FANTASTIC and the game is great fun with mr. park and mr. wie. LOL.. And Mr. Wie slice Mr. Park into pieces... Mr Park did not wake up for the whole morning (excuses, excuses), plus some really tough luck e.g. Ball kena stolen by other golfer, ball up in tree, brushing the grass while doing practice swing inside hazard. Hiaz....... Hmmm....maybe Mr Wie should consider giving strokes to Mr Park in next outing then?
