Pwah!

Fresh from the Dubai World Golf Championship.......learnt from my Euro Tour idol's mistake.......that dropping your ball on your marker constitutes a 1 stroke penalty!!!!

Only if the marker moves, otherwise, no penalty. I use a tee to mark my ball...
