| I'm off to SF in 2 weeks time and was wondering whether I should go golf shopping I know that there's a Golfsmith in SF city itself (used to walk by it daily) and will definitely go poke around. What golf gear would be worthwhile picking up in the US? | |

| Thanks, Poresia. I don't fancy picking up lots of clubs but some select ones would do | |

| Ts, i just got back from the bay area. But i didnt go to the city so i went to golfmart at burlingame, south of sf. Pretty much hit every clubs available, new and preowned.
Suggestions: - buy demo clubs or preowned stuff. Good disc on newest models! - bring an old lousy bag, buy new one. Throw away the old. - wedges galore!! Prices between $69-89 for previous yrs models. - adams black series: pro hybrids, cb1 forged - oldies but goodies like rapture hybrid, burner/vsteel/r7 woods, tm rescues - lots of shoes or footjoy closeouts for $79 - nike vr tour driver with px graphite

| Fred couples' ecco shoes were very tempting. bridgestone golf 2010 irons/wedge line up is not available here, so i'd check their stuff too. If u stay long enough: buy online and ship to your hotel. Do ask the concierge first if they provide such service. Most hotels do.
Beware of SFO: the sob baggage handlers broke my shaft, probably out of spite. | |
