Golf shopping in Kowloon

Hi guy,

I am sure there is a thread on this but just do not know how to locate it. I properly will be in Hong Kong (Staying in Kowloon) next month.

Anyone know, where and what will be a good buy on golf stuff in Kowloon area ?

Many golf shops in causeway bay (leighton building) if I remember correctly. Japanese brands are cheaper in Hongkong than here. Happy shopping.

there is one whole street in Tsim Sha Tsui with about 15 golf shops...

Hankow Street. At least 10 shops along that street.

hankow road in TST.. quite near to peninsula hotel

I'm going to hk next month too! I'm staying in Sheraton, any golf shopsss there? Besides jap brand, what r the things that r cheaper there? Tks

sheraton, peninsula - same area in TST, go to hankow..

clubs ok to get from hankow in tst, genuine... no need to worry abt fake china clubs

im thinking of getting an iron set there, likely TM burner 2.0 or TM TP CB or R11. you think worth it?

Bro, I would suggest you have all the above clubs prices information that can buy out from Singapore and compare to the prices in Hong Kong. Again, buy only from authorize shops only, be ware of fake.

I understand it more difficult to tell now as they were getting very good at all. Some even come with series number on the irons.

Sorry, I am not staying in Singapore now. You do not want to learn from me as I am not good enough to be a coach at all.

If you really wanted to improve, seek a good coach. However, do be patience with this game ... It is a difficult game .. learn hard and play hard and try to enjoy it ... Good luck

Just came back from HK 2 wks ago. There quite a few shops ard Tsim Sha Tsui (TST) area. Walk from A1 exit @ TST station near Hankow rd towards HK Space Museum. There are at least 5 - 8 along the road. 1 more shop on level 1 (meaning take escalator up 1 level) of a centre between Sheraton HK & Imperial Hotel (lookout for TGIF, should b opposite TST station exit F).

There r more selection of golf bags cos they r close to Japan. Price wise, not cheap. I can get bags cheaper from Rakuten. Balls are cheaper than locally with a much bigger selection!

Apparently there are more shops at HK side but I couldn't find them due to my limited time available.

I think not only baggage. If I'm not wrong, if the clubs cost more than $400, you'll have to pay 7% GST.

The xtra amount to pay depends on your airline. Most would chk in as sports goods. I guess its around the region of $60-$80. Remember to remove all packaging otherwise may kenna GST in SG.
