Anyway u can't clock Executive Courses for your score if I m not wrong, the courses u play must have slope rating in order to qualify. Par3 n EC is for practicing.
Yah...executive courses cards cannot be used in hcp, but strangely I heard some take their hcp test there.
Hahahaaaa

Not sure abit champion (website said they are recently awarded slope rating by SGA) but marina bay golf course sure can.

If u just gotten ur PC n have not played in a full pledge 18hole course, I will highly suggest that u practice regularly at a "Mickey Mouse course" EC or Par3 course to learn abt ur short game n course management which will be very useful when u play on a real course to clock good score card for hcp.

Mandai has slope rating... What is a 'Mickey Mouse' course?

Mickey Mouse is a cartoon figure rite? It is a phrase used to label kiddy playground (one of the local teaching pro always said to me when he sees me playing in EC as he said; play on a real course n u will mature in your game).

Can walk-in NSRCC Kranji or changi or MBGC for early morning game during weekdays or weekends. Changi golf club also clock score card.

128 for 18 holes sounds not bad for a beginner. ok, that's my target for next week.
i haven't went to any 18 holes before, and planning to go to horizon hills next week with some friends.

yeah, just have to keep playing

The rough of hh can kill especially they are getting ready for Johor iskandar open. Just like bro poresia said, palm villa and palm resorts  melati good choice. Or u can go puteri c also not too bad. As for kakis, u just post in gr I'm sure u find some soon.

@Unfinished; very sound advice from GR bros. There're quite a few GRians in similiar situations like you. You'd be able to find fellow golfers to join up for rounds of golf. Palm Resort is nice; short drive from 2nd Link & only RM88 per game weekdays. Three 18 holes so very easy to walk in & play during weekdays. Recently upgraded locker & hot/cold pools; can soothe yr muscles or egos depending on yr game. Either way, just relax & enjoy whatever your score may be.

Bro Enwee, playing in HH is alot better than playing in Austin Hill ... At least one can still enjoy the well maintained green and fairway plus the female caddies (if any is available) even if one can't keep the ball on the FW ... Twisted Evil Razz
