Been hearing news that mandai executive course requires advance booking and don't entertain walk in anymore? Can anyone verify this? And where to book

i believe it should b in the 20s
only thing now is u play 1 round or 2 round, charge u same price, instead of a discount if u play a 2nd round

you can book thru them at Toa Payoh Range..Payment by cash only.

Was lucky to stumble onto this thread. Did not know of the changes and would have been disappointed if made a wasted trip down.

Likewise. Was trying to find information on the course but they don't have a website. Next best bet was GR, and I didn't know it was managed by Poh Brothers.

wow! changes tis days can be real fast! jus took over by Seletar CC n now Poh Bros, wats nex??? can make one feel so 'lost' in tis fast changing climate! lol

Was at Toa Payoh this morning. Had a quick check. If not mistaken it is $21.40 for weekday and $32.10 0n weekend.

i believe mandai is still managed by seletar.
but yes you can book at toa payoh. perhaps they have a tie up with Poh Bros to make it easier for people to book!

Was there at Mandai ex course yesterday n they allowed walk-in admission. Not sure if they allow on weekends.

I must say that the course needs more maintainance, never see any changes to the course condition compared to abt 3-4 mths ago.

If u stay in the east, NSRCC Par3 is the best place to practice but if u stay in the north, Mandai EC is the next best thing.

nvr been to nsrcc as well, afraid to be rejected as im no local ...

Jurong country club has a 5 x 2 EC course abt $30 while NSRCC par3 accepts non local. Just pay abt $24 for non local if I m not wrong.

If not u can try champion fairway (formally green fairway) near old bukit timah turf club.

i just got my PC and want to get the score to do my handicap.

so i have to do 9-hole, 18 hole? (5 hole can not?)

Anyway u can't clock Executive Courses for your score if I m not wrong, the courses u play must have slope rating in order to qualify. Par3 n EC is for practicing.

Yah...executive courses cards cannot be used in hcp, but strangely I heard some take their hcp test there.
