Mandai Executive Golf Course

Hi all, I haven't been playing golf for 3-4 years so I'm unsure of some of the course/range info.

Anyone know if EGC needs PC/Handicap before able to play on their green? (not range).

Also, what are the rates. I wanna find a place to practice before retaking my handicap.

no need PC/handicap... rates cannot remember. i think weekend is about 32+ while weekday is about 28+....

oh ok! i heard rumours tht they won't let u on the green without PC.

Mandai not strict, just pay and go play

Mandai Executive golf course do not require a PC/handicap to play.

Last week i went there several times to play, weekday rate is $21.40. As for weekend i dunno liao...

Book tee time?? Dun think they will entertain u on that, just walk in and queue... nobody cares abt tee time there... if you go there at the right time, you will see mothers encouraging their kids to cut queue... hahaa

You can also try Jurong Country Club executive course (5 holes x 2) on wwekdays, i can't remember the rates but it should be below $40. Alternatively, go NSRCC changi for the 9 hole par 3 course ($20+), and theres also Fairways at Eng Neo as well as Tanglin. No shortage of choices actually. Have Fun.

Hi Gingerbread, I dun think a PC is needed at EGC, the only thing you need is patience cos the queue is always very long.

Bro, i was once an aspiring serious golfer like you looking for more practice grounds. So much so there was once we were on our way to JB then massive jam starts at APB liao, ice cream. We exit pia to mbgc fully booked, then stim liao siao chong nao need to chuut desperately, so we end up pia to JCC for 2x5 holes song song gau jurong. So you see bro, like Mr. Baccarat Koh says options is good, thats why they have MBS and RWS.

I believe for practices, Mandai Exec is good. Furthermore, if you buys their range ball maybe $50 you will get 1 green fee free. Many beginners and those who want to refine their iron shots will go there .

if i dun recall wrongly, EGC does have some membership programme - you pay something like $1XX ++ and can play unlimited per month...

That's why it's a busy place...at 0645 am, already a long queue plus all those taking PC test....

Yes. Been there few times in the past 2 months. Q is generally ok. Reach at abt 7.30am on weekends, the most wait 2 flights in front. Played on weekdays as well and its super quiet. Unlike what my friend told me reach 6 plus am already more than 5 flights queueing up. Tink that was in the past.

I saw queue as long as 4-5 flights when I finish 1 round around 9.30am on weekends. So be there early if you're playing on weekends!!
