Sad indeed, particularly for the children.

Good to note NSRCC is equipped w an ambulance buggy c/w an AED.. Wonder if this is standard practice amongst golf clubs... in Singapore? and JB? Anyone knows?

From what I know, it was regulated for various public places in SG to have an AED.

For golf courses, i believe part of the requirement was that the AED must be in place to be delivered to a golfer within a certain time, hence it will be placed on selected marshall buggies.

I remember all the staff at MGK and MBGC had to go for AED and First Aid training (incl proper certification) to prepare for this.

Can't comment about JB though ...

I think not just NSRCC all clubs should have such drill. Yes, sorry for the teens. May they be strong and Rip, Mr Chua.

Anyone knows where is funeral?

I would like to contribute although I don't know him.

I lost my dad when I was 7 so I know how difficult his family will need to go thru.

Funeral was today..but kudos for the kind thoughts poresia.

He was part of my golf group..was a shock to all of us as he was a very fit man. Anyways..important to take care of ourselves and go for check ups for irregularities.

Rip KB..you will always be remembered.

I think govt should consider subsidised AED for home use. Amazon is selling US$1K for AED.
