Callaway X Forged

Guys, can anyone tell me what does the SS and SG signify in the description for these wedges?

Does the MD version spin alot more? Thinking of getting 1 but not sure which to get.

joe, the description used by Callaway for the wedges is meant to indicate the type of groove and sole:

Groove Types:
MD = Mack Daddy Groove
SG = Standard Groove

Sole Types:
CG = C-Grind
SS = Standard Sole

The Mack Daddy Groove are designed to spin more and give greater control

I think Cally's wedges are awesome. In my mind, better than Vokeys

As far as I know, the prices are the same. There's only a difference in price if you pick the vintage model (which rusts easier) over the chrome model. The former is cheaper.

But I could be mistaken.

Haha. I have 2 SM Vokeys sitting around. The 56˚ and 60˚. Hardly touched.
