All the bros & pros,

Any idea if the scratches on the iron face can be removed? I am currently using the BFG forged irons...

once you get sand on the ball and you hit it, you will get scratches. it will not affect your groove as long as you clean them.

Eric, I hit the BFG cb with Ivan at keppel just now...nice draws, soft, easy. Is it 1020 steel?

Scratches? Hate them...bcoz of the rust that may come after a wet December game. Dun forget to dry and oil/wd40 after use.

Try using scotch brite. It can remove small scratch marks. I use it once in a while quite successfully. But then again, the scratches will come back again during your next game. Anyway if it will make you feel better, why not? Smile

If you go forged, you probably should know that they tend to get scratches and dinks easily. Some forged irons are a bit tougher than others, but all suffer nonetheless. I don't think that you can avoid and so, really no point to try sand it away.
