Reading the article above, i see how a man's life and family in ruin because of gambling. Its that easy and its no joke. Will you put your family, life, career at risk and at the mercy of your own habits? I didnt want to and I decided to make my own choice. I am not gambler and have never gambled in casino. The thought of how easy a person can go on greed and be on a self destruct mode, I decided not to go anywhere near casino. I encourage everyone to consider signing yourself and family members to avoid casinos.

For employers, please do the right thing, sign up your employees be it they are SGrean, PR or Foreigners. For their own good, please stop them from gambling.

My ex-boss loves poker, baccarat, Black Jack. He is an ang mo. He plays poker for the game and trill of it. He considers it a sport or a game. He once made a comment on asians in a casino. He said Asians, or for this matter singaporeans, plays casino as if their livelihood depended on it. He expect to win big all the time, so that one day they do not have to work anymore.

When my colleagues asked him what his mentality was when he goes to the casino, he said, he goes in to relieve stress. Everytime, he will change about 500-1k chips, sets a time limit and control his bets by betting small. Once time is up, win or lose he will exchange his chips.

If he wins, he will take his family out for a meal.

He commented that Asians, esp the older ones, do not believe in technique when it comes to gambling. Black Jack for example, has various technipue of playing, but the people he sees just depend on whether you are lucky or not.
