| Just an update, just played there yesterday morning, the promo for 78RM before 10am Tee-off is over, now it's 88RM before 10am Tee-off for weekdays, only monday is 78RM.
I was lucky to play at the Palm course, the last time i went there it was close for members only, but hell it was 1 tough course but it's damn blardy nice! Must try!
thumbs up, very nice course.

| I played 3 weeks back at Palm and Hill...nice course, the elevated shots would be challenging for choice of clubs.
I can't remember which course but my first tee off from blue tee ended up into a small river running that runs across the green...sian

| I have updated the first post with the players names, who all have indcated driving, pricing and my contact details. Also forgot to mention that we are playing a no stakes game. Also, if you think you will be best playing off ladies\junior tee, we'll encourage that. No shame in doing so. My first round was from a junior tee. We all start somewhere.. If you do play from the ladies\junior, pls have the integrity not to submit scores as if they were from men's\championship tees | |

| Just a suggestion, since you guys have 2 or 3 flights, why don give legend a call saying you holding a department game with XX number of golfers, see if they can give you a bulk discount. | |

| They will tell you fixed price. Anyway, they usually have weekend afternoon promo. Last time I played there, in Oct, was about 120RM. | |

Good idea. I live Yishun. V convenient. But hor, I suppose Legends should be going via 2nd link. Aniways, transport wise, we'll finalise after confirmation of the flights n players. Cheers!!!

| Akhild,
I just played legends yesterday (Hill & Water Course)... Its definitely not "feel good" course for beginner like myself...
Fairways are pretty narrow, width around 40-50 yards in some.. must cross water etc for the water course. Fairway condition ok, green are nice, rough are punishing...
So... if anyone backs out for the 16th Mar game, let me know, I would love to try out the course again... this time, with a more relaxed weekday atmostphere...
Remember to bring more balls..!!!

| White, been driving it since June 2007, wife pregnant also continue driving...now baby almost 1 yr old and he's use to the whole ride.
got asked to stop tracking at sepang so i picked up golf and since sept 2009 have been hook on this game. still moderate for ctr forums but i don't attend much of their events anymore, maybe get a track car if singapore's track is interesting, but it doesn't seem that way atm, might be more fun to ride on the track then drive.

| Yeah... driving the CTR is painful in Singapore roads, suspension's a back killer and I drive a lot for work, so its not helping.
I think the track car is a good idea. The changi track is gonna be completed next year, so dun have to travel to KL anymore to do it.
Me and my frens are considering of getting those old EGs or EKs just for track... At least our daily commute dun have to be so harsh...
EIther way, keep the car dude.. I kinda regret selling it tho.... very painful indeed..

| doubt i will sell unless wife complains, but she knows i love it and even tho the lure of driving a more comfortable and spacious car is tempting, but everytime i turn a corner or open vtec, i just forget about it.
i already swapped out stock suspension for aftermarket one and tuned the dampening to something more manageable but the chasis is still very stiff.

- hi,
i am starting this thread as an offshott of the other high HCP thread. Let's get the interest going for the game on 16th March:
1) akhild - akhild car (start orchard) 2) akhild - akhild car (start orchard) 3) apSG 4) goGoffy 5) Marco 7) golfer902 8) Fido - Driving 9) Jason 28 10) Uncle A - akhild car (start orchard) Let's aim for 2 flights. See if we get more.
Pricing:
Green Fee: RM 88 per golfer. Caddy Fee: RM18 per golfer (1 caddy for 2 golfers) Transport: Depends on the ones with cars. I would think $10-$15 per person return trip all in is fair for the ones driving. Legends is best reached from Tuas about 60 KM..
My number is Nine Four 5 5 Seven 0 8 Five.
Some conditions:
1) Don't have HCP is still ok, but pls do respect the course 2) Observe golf etiquette. If unsure, pls ask 3) Know do's and dont's on fairway and greens 4) Know how to repair divots and ball marks 5) Have your own tools (clubs, ball markers etc etc) 6) Pls be in golfing attire and shoes 7) Caddy is recommended. They are a great help on the course
